| Hold it really far away from the bud I guess? I don't know, I would just buy a vaporizer if you want to actually vaporizer. It's a neat tool for other stuff around the house though.

| I... use the flameless heat tip so little butane is inhaled. It is soooo much smoother (no coughing) than using a lighter & I believe more efficent as the bud is not burned. Also, at its price point, i believe you get more bang for your buck. The nozzle is adjustable ergo the temp of the flameless heat tip is adjustable as well. |

| You could achieve the same results with an electric soldering iron or any other intense heat source. If inhaling butane is a concern, light your bowl with a match or a burning piece of wood or a candle or anything besides a lighter. I'll keep my soldering iron for splicing wires, thank you. |
