Default Some Insight on Voprizing Please...

I am messing with some stuff I have around the house and with help of this forum I have discovered that a small candle under a thin piece of glass will vaporize the herb. I just put a mason jar over it to collect the vapor, and hit it.
What I was wondering though, is how do I tell how much of the thc was vaporized? Can I still use the leftover stuff to cook with? Any general insight to this process? Thanks in advance...

Peace

There is no quantitative way to measure that. Generally, when all the green has turned brown you have vaped all that can be harvested that way.

You can. It would have a very small residue of cannabinoids after vaping.

You have built a primitive conduction vaporizer, much like the lightbulb vaporizers described in many threads on this site. Use the search facility to find them.

Conduction vaporizers have trouble getting the weed to the right temperature for vaporizing. The weed in contact with the heated surface tends to get too hot while the weed on top doesn't get hot enough. A better solution is a convection vaporizer that passes air heated to the proper temperature through a load of weed. I use a VaporWarez machine that cost $120 delivered. It paid for itself with the first ounce I vaped because I can get twice as much mileage out of weed vaping vs. smoking.
