Some background info:

Alright, so my parents busted me for smoking, even though I quit like 6 months ago (don't hate me, I had reasons, and I plan on starting again). And now that I plan on starting, and I have more cash, I'm looking at vaporizers. I've found a couple on eBay for pretty cheap, that seem to check out 'coz I've see them on other sites for alot more. Here is the one I'm looking at seriously:

Do any of you guys know if it's any good? I'm not looking for top of the line, just a mid-range 'smoke with mates' one.

Also, I read that the vapor can be kind of tastless, and I've seen that there are "herbal/tabacco vaporizer liquids" out there, but these are like eucalyptus (sp?) or something. I wanted to know if there are any good tasting flavors out there, or if I could maybe use hookah oil, 'coz those things have good flavors.

Glass globe (conduction) vaporizers suck compared to convection vaporizers. I got a glass globe machine and replaced it three weeks later with a VaporBrothers convection machine. I loved it. After 20 months of excellent service it broke down, but it had paid for itself several times in the amount of weed I saved. My bags would go at least twice as far as if I'd smoked them.

I replaced the VaporBrothers machine with a similar VaporWarez machine which I like even more.

Conduction vapes put the weed on top of a tiny hotplate. This heats the weed to the vaporization temperature of THC, the vapor rises into the globe, and the user sucks it out of the globe. The problem is that the weed directly in contact with the hotplate easily gets too hot while the upper layers don't get hot enough. A convection machine generates air heated to the correct temperature. The user draws the hot air through a load of weed in the "whip", a plastic hose with a glass fixture on the end which holds the weed against a screen. As soon as you stop drawing, the weed stops vaping, so nothing gets wasted (except you ).
