I have a problem that needs an answer to. so i bought a volcano vaporizer and started vaping 1-2 grams of AAA purple kush BC BUD. I was all fucked up and thought i didnt need to blaze anymore. I keep my weed in a glass jar. and i bust my weed on this glass surface sort of like a big glass CD case. Too get onto the story i had about a .5 left of the glass case. I started to scrape the busted weed into the glass jar and I knicked the jar with the glass cd case. A little bit of glass cracked off of each thing into the glass jar full of about an ounce of purple kush. I took all the buds out and examined with a magnifying glass for glass particulate. After a long examination I seemed to of gotten all the glass out, but I'm sure there should be some very small pieces that I couldnt get or stuck to the buds or something of that sort. I use a volcano vaporizer and a big glass bong only. I do not want to inhale glass shards. And i do not want to damage the volcano vaporizer.what do you suppose i do?

Good question.
You might want to toss the buds around a bit on a screen to let any more glass particles drop through. Yea, you'll lose some tricomes etc but it's not that big a deal.

If I'm not mistaken the melting point of glass is very high, maybe minimum of 1000 degrees F ?????

The ignition temperature for paper is reported to be 450 C (842 F), and the flash point of paper is estimated to be 350 C (662 F) so smoking it is probably safe.

Use your Volcano. The highest setting should go no more than + - 430 F and most folks use settings that fluctuate between 350 F and 425 F.

If you use the vape you should have no problems. It is unlikely that any glass particles would end up in the bag. If they did, glass is heavier than vapor. If you hold the bag valve up, the glass particles would stay on the bottom.

Most likely the placebo effect, even with a butane torch i dont think you will inhale anything deadly. Just dont cook with it.
