my friend has this vaporizer he is willing to sell to me, but before i buy it i wanna know the differences. is the high that much better, or good for ur lungs? he says it filters everything out and u can't even smell the smoke but i'm not sure. lemme know ur thoughts.

Im not really an expert on vaporizers seeing as ive never seen one, much less used one. But ive heard a lil about them.

basicly its like knife hits but better. It heats up the ganja to the point where it pretty much vaporizes and your just inhaling the vapors not the smoke (tar and junk). It is better for your lungs but im not sure on the smell thing. But as for getting you higher im not sure...

I'm thinking of investing in a vaporizer myself. It is much better for your lungs, and that is the primary reason I am interested in one. The vapor doesn't smell like marijuana, but it does let off an odor. I can't really describe the odor, though. I suggest you try making the makeshift vaporizer similar to the one mentioned in this thread or try out your friend's before you buy one.

If your friend is already dead, and being eaten by vultures, I think it's okay to feed some bits of your friend to one of the vultures, to teach him to do some tricks. But only if you're serious about adopting the vulture.

hi,
i am a very satisfied owner of a vaporizer (eterra by green heat inc.) which is considered the best design ever. there basically 3 types of vaporizers: the "dome" type, which is very popular, but not too efficient, vaportech- like vaps, and the eterra. the dome type is the cheapest to make, and it has a cool glass sphere. it isnt very efficient though... the smoke will make contact with the dome, and some of the active substances will stick to the glass. if u use the vaportech, mj is heated up in a glass pipe, but since it is not heated evenly, only the parts that are exposed will release the vapor. now about the eterra.. it is extremely efficient, it doesnt work directly on mj; it heats up the air which is later passed through the load. it penetrates the bud and goes through a very short pipe (shorter than in any other vap) and goes into your lungs. there are a few advantages vaps have over other methods of smoking. they are efficient (unofficial 30% of savings for eterra) they don't produce smoke, therefore they dont smell; they are healthier (less tar) and aren't so harsh on your lungs. they also deliver a different kind of high.. u will NOT get a couchlock, because there is no combustion and only a very litthe amount of carbon monoxide is released (which makes you tired and sleepy when u smoke a blunt)... now the diadvantages... there is a rumor (the manufacturers dont mention it of course) that a little less thc is released during the process... a lot of other cannabiloids, but not as much thc... u have to try it for yourself.. it is different.. some people like it, some people dont; i absolutely love it, my friends dont want to use the bong, or blunts, only the vap. today we were testing my new bong, but since we didn't have enough weed we had to smoke the rest with the vap, so that everybody could get high... vap is a pretty sweet thing.. i think it's worth spending $122 on eterra... (be careful when cleaning the stems !!!!) i will answer any other questions u have.

I bought a voporizer about two weeks ago fro 60 bucks. I works great, especially for smoking in my dorm room. It is rather disconcerting at first to not be inhaling smoke, but you get a strong aftertaste, especially if it is really dank bud. You get a slightly different high too, but it's still sweet. I recommend one
