I'll be attempting to make one tonight. I got a small lightbulb, 50 watt (it's not a round one, its kinda pointy and small so I can carry it around easily if I want). The cap looks to be about the size of a pen tube, so I'm assuming I can just stick the pen in there and use it without needing a bottle cap. does that sound like it will work?

Usually not much if any, as long as you don't burn it. That's a problem with a homemade device, it's hard to keep the temp right. As long as you get the insides out (the white film too, if any) and get a good seal I don't see why not. I used a 100 watt bulb myself, stands up to heat a lil better.

I HAVE ABOUT 5 GRAMS OF DANK, (WHEN I BOUGHT IT EARLIER IT WAS A QUARTER) I WANT TO TRY USING A VAPORIZER BUT I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW TO MAKE ONE. IM SOOO HIGH FROM ALL THIS WEED...CAN SOME 1 EXPLAIN TO ME.??>..???

Take a lightbulb, preferably a 100 watt and cut approx a 1/4 in off the top and remove the insides. Clean the white off the inside(if any) hot water works. Then get a cap from a 20oz bottle and cut a hole about the size of a straw or pen. Stick pen/straw thru hole and screw cap on. That's how I did it and it works for me.

ive tried making one a few times before, but i always seem to run into the same problem. the inside glass is attached to the wires are attached to the metal nipple (hehe.... nipple). i cant get the inside glass out without breaking off the (hehe) nipple. ive tried cutting the wire as close to the nipple once, but that was hard and didnt really work, as the nipple broke off.

and please, i dont want any suggestions on how to use my roachclips to keep the nipple on.............

I just use a little screwdriver and carefully chip away the inside til the wire comes loose. Worked for me, just have to be careful.

when u say to cut off 1/4, one fourth of what? do u mean the glass part or the metal part as the top? where do i make the hole on the bulb? can it be a plastic straw or any stemlike thing/? i screw the cap on the metal pert right?

im retarded, but help me out...

Yes, cut the metal part and screw the cap on it. Straw, pen whatever you want to use that will fit. I have a straw in mine.
