I haven't used every type of vaporizer, only 3 (Vapor Warez, Vapor Brothers, and Voodoo). I wouldn't be qualified.

My experience with a wide range of vapes is very limited, mostly I've used a VaporBrothers and a VaproWarez and tried a few others. 5Drive seems to be the local expert.

The same questions are asked over and over.

A sticky faq would be usefull.

Thanks vern. I was going to suggest that section. Rick did a really good job of covering the basics. Reading those topics should give anyone new to vaporizing a good view of what it's all about. I would take exception to some of the comments in "Types of Vaporizers" though. The Voodoo is referred to as a "wood box and whip”, which it isn't, and although it could be described as a bargain in its class (bag and direct draw in one unit), the short warranty and potential problems (fan and digital display) make it somewhat of a risky buy compared to a basic box vape. It's also better known as the Vapir One. And some concerns with using some types of whip tubing are stated that are no longer valid with any name brand vape. They all use food grade tubing these days, whether it's PVC, silicone, or Polyurethane.

We should be referring people to this section though, when they start a thread and ask 'what is a vaporizer?' or 'how does vaporizing work?'. I always try to thank new posters for reading old threads when it's obvious that they've done some reading up before asking 'what vape should I buy?'. It's not too bad to point out the pluses and minuses of vape A and vape B (or even C and D), but explaining the difference between conduction vapes and convection, or between bag delivery and whip, can get tiresome after a while. The info is here. You just have to do a little browsing and use the search tool. The "Vaporizer Information" section of the home page is a great place to start.
