I bought a vaporbros vaporizer off ebay for $82 shipped, and it arrived today. It looks brand new, and I got it to work from the first hit. I have a few questions though.

1) Can you buy the screens for the tube u breath through at a local hardware store? I kinda messed up putting it in, but it still works fine.

2)What setting do you ussually have your vap at when using it. I seem to have to put mine almost all the way up past 12 o clock.

You can get those screens from any nearby faucet, or head shop, and most likley hardware stores too.

If removing form a faucet, make sure it's not your parents, they'll probably get suspicious if the waterflow changes.

You should be exhaling a thin white mist of vapor, that dissapates very quickly, and not a thick white/cream cloud of smoke that hangs in the air. It should just toast the buds, and not blacken them.

Here's some of my bud that's already been vaporized, it still has a little drugs left on it, it was from some nice KB tho, like the stuff in my sig.

Yaznaki pretty much answered your question about the screens.

I have a Vapor Brothers vaporizer as well. I keep mine set at 10AM. That is perfect for me. I get a nice vapor (no smoke) and it doesn't hurt my lungs.

A little. But it dissipates really quickly. It's nothing like smoking, the smell is very nearly not there. You'll see if you try one.

If you can't find the right kind/size screens locally, check out this thread: Cheap Screens!

Since these things aren't calibrated, you have to do a bit of trial-and-error to find what's right on your machine. 12'o'clock seems to be a good starting point. I usually set mine at 11 for the first few hits and then to 12 until the load is exhausted. If I don't start at 11, the hits are too dense and make me cough.

most head shops that sell whip type vaporizers will have vape screens in stock. its also may be worth checking the head shops that dont, these things are becomming more needed every month.

its just like a regular pipe screen, except the vape screens are a fine mesh.


dont be afraid to play with your heat setting. vaping a bowl on low heat or high will make the same strain of herb effect you in very different ways. the right one is the one that you enjoy the most.

Does everyone's ABV look like the picture posted above in this thread?
Mine is much darker than that, more like tobacco. Or at least more of a light brown like sawdust but that looks green still. Is that right?

It all depends on the temperature setting on your vape. If it's really high, the residue can be very dark brown. If it's really low, the residue might still have some green in it.
