Is it possible to collect the buildup on the sides of the jar of one of those bubble gum machine looking vaporizers? It seems like it would be some potent stuff if there were any way to collect it.

I have never heard of a bubble gum machine vaporizer. I have a Vapor Brothers vaporizer with a whip. Are you talking about the black resin that builds up on the glass, like it does in my whip? If you even know what I'm talking about.

Yeah Vicki it's the same stuff.. by "bubblegum" style he means like a crappy BC vaporizer with a glass globe to collect the vapor, and the herb sits on a hot plate inside it.

I usually just toss my stuff from my vapor brothers when I clean it.. I don't know if it does anything, but vicki has tried.. she'll be back with a proper answer


Why don't you just try it yourself and report back as well?

Ewww, that's nasty. That's not true vaporizing. That's inhaling smoke.

I have scrapped that resin off the inside of my whip while cleaning it with alcohol, but I have never saved it as it's soaked in alcohol. I tried scraping it off before I soaked the whip, but I couldn't get anything, and I broke the bamboo stick that came with the vaporizer. Can't use a straightened paper clip either because it will scratch the glass. I do not see any "good" way to collect that resin from within the whip. Nor do I believe it would be any good.

well...yeah i guess i am talking about the crappy vaporizers when i refer to mine looking like a bubblegum machine...im not necisarilly very rich being a college student so yeah.......but the resin im talking about is the orangish colored stuff on the inside of the glass jar and there is one time i was able to get some rolling papers and rub some off and put it back in the vaporizer to get high....i know thats nasty, and it was..thats why i was hoping there might be a better way to collect it.....im sure theres really not a way to do it cleanly and respectibly but to tell you the honest truth.. i smoke to get high because i enjoy being high....aaaand whatever it takes im willing to do it, u know? i try to get the most out of the weed i have because of the lack of money.

I understand completely. I am not a rich person either. I got my vaporizer off ebay, brand new in the box, for $120.00, including shipping. I'm sure you could save $120.00 by putting away a little bit over time. Possibly not buying things and putting it in that savings. That is what I did.

You can get the absolute most from your weed if you buy a vaporizer. It has so many advantages. It conserves weed. It is stealthy. Perfect for a college dorm room. If used properly, there is no weed smell whatsoever.

As for the resin being orange color, I am assuming it is that color because of the bubblegum type that it is. Seems to me that the orange color would indicate tar. Meaning that it is definately burning the weed. My resin is always black. It also gets very hard on the inside of the glass, or it can get that way, even after only a week of routine use.

yeah im thinking that my vaporizer is burning my weed a little....i was excited for a minute though because im pretty sure keif is kind of an orangish color.

but yeah ive smoked out of the same vaporizer that you have as your icon and it was simply amaizing. no smell whatsoever and i felt great after one hit. mine has hardly any smell but it does have some. i made a paper towel tube stuffed with drier sheets to blow through to catch any of the odors that it does make. ha i remember the days of smoking out the window hoping that nobody would see the huge clouds of smoke billowing out...that was a lil risky.

anyways thanks for your help...it would probably be smarter to save up over a longer period of time to get a nicer vaporizer, but of course my impatience is hard to hold back...haha especially when i earn my money in 20 dollar spurts twice a week from a nearby plasma donation place aaand having a dealer of some exotic weed across the hall for 20 a g.........i can barely resist buying twice a week. im not so smart with my money i guess.
