Okay i found a heat gun around the house and i want to use it with a regular hand pipe.My question is-could i just hold it over the bowl and toke or does it have to fit in it somehow? also will the gun be too hot for the pipe and crack it?

The way I use a heat gun is different though, I have no experience in trying to get it to work on a normal handpipe. I don't think it would work because there wouldn't be a way to get a good seal and the heat of the gun will make it hard to hold the carb. Then again I'm not sure what methods some stoners have come up with to use a heat gun with a handpipe. I'm not sure but the heat gun to me works best with a bong, the gear is designed to be used that way, not Mcguyver'd into working.

The thing about a heat gun is how long is takes to draw a nice-sized hit; so I'd imagine that it wouldn't be a good idea to try to use one with a handpipe.

It might blow out the weed in the bowl, burn your hand, burn your throat because you are using 400 degree air and not cooling it with a whip (air cools as it travels along the tube) or water, all in the same session.

You need one that you can dail into 400 degrees or so- I use 450 but that's because I'm impatient and it doesn't really burn the weed so it's whatever. You would want to aim for 380 but you need a digital gun, and then still I'm not sure about that temp because it takes so damn long to get a hit. The whip-style vapes are much better for that temp in my opinion.

I like the way the whip-style tastes too compared to the heat gun. Sure you can get much bigger rips with the heat gun- but the Vapobro's that Vicki has really impresses me with how good it tastes. Not totally better, just more I guess you could say. When I spend a lot of money on dro I'd like to be able to use a whip-style vape.
