The alveoli in your lungs have such an incredible amount of surface area on which THC can be absorbed, I'm guessing that the maximum absorption value will be equal to the volume of smoke your lung capacity can actually handle.

It's unhealthy to hold hits in to long. A person doing so will suffer from hypoxia (lack of oxygen to brain) and thusly kill more brain cells.

I take about a half lung-full of vapes (from any vape device) and finish it with fresh oxygen. I hold it in for 10 seconds (I count backwards from 10 to 1) and exhale through my nose. I find that this minimizes any "wasted vapors".

What you are exhaling is vapor. Water vapor. I tried to say that before but I guess I wasn't clear enough.


I even posted what THC Fiend wrote about it- the THC is absorbed extremely fast because of the massive amount of surface area of your aveoli. (sp) -the tiny air sacs in your lungs-

You don't need to hold it in that long, and blowing out vapor is normal.

Smoke and vapor are made up of tiny particles. When you "ghost" a hit you are basically waiting for all of those particles to deposit along the inside of your lungs. With vapor, it's just a bunch of water but I'd imagine that isn't very good for your breathing.

You are not wasting anything by blowing out smoke or vapor, the THC rides on it and is absorbed extemely fast; within a few seconds it is worthless to hold it in any longer.

I keep mine set between 10 and 11 o-clock. We turn it up to 3 only when heating up the element, and then we turn it back down.

Of course, I am not an expert on vapes, as my vaporbrothers is my first one. But with it being that hot, are you blowing out smoking instead of vapor? B/c even when I or hubby take a huge pull off the whip, we blow out only a bit of vapor. I don't know. And when we do blow out the vapor, it dissipates almost immediately and has almost no odor
