Do you prime your whip?

Ok, don't laugh at the title of the thread, but I couldn't think of anything better because I'm nursing a migraine right now.

This question is for owners of whip style vaporizers, of course.

Do you feel a need to prime the whip before drawing, or not?

Priming the whip is holding it on the heating element for about 5 seconds before you draw.

can someone please explain to me how a vaporizer works, like i know it heats the weed at the exzact temp the THC burns. but i mean physically how does it work in all the pictures i just see a box.

I don't own a vape yet, but for me it would be natural to prime it I think, is there any known reason not to prime it. I guess it all boils down to the hit you get if you feel primeing helps for more instant vaporizing then yea, but if it gets to hot it my give you vaporburn, I think I'm not sure it's when you have the element to hot that you get vaporburn so I don't think priming for a short time can be a bad thing.

Is this only for the non hands free model?

I just keep mine plugged into the heating element.

Sometimes I will hold the whip in my mouth before I start the session and breathe moist air into the marijuana to make my hits less dry.
