First off I have to say that the vaporKing vaporizer is the best vaporizer out there for the price and the quality of product you get. I've been in the market for a second vaporizer for a while since my Aromazap vaporizer was hard to hit, slow to warm, and had a small bowl size. Anyway I came across this vaporizer looking through ebay and decided that the price was outstanding compared to the Vapor Bros which was 40 more expensive but i think 40 overpriced, since the vaporking gets the job done the same or i think even better for way less than the vaporbros. I looked on the net for review but nobody had seemed to have heard of this vape so I decided that when i get mine I'll write a review for people to look at. Well I ordered it and it arrived on the day the company said it would within two days, the company was great to work with and very responsive to emails. The product was sent fedex and was packaged quite nicely in bubble wrap and packing peanuts. It came with the vape, 3yr warranty card, glass whip, directions, and sticker. The vape itself heats up in under two minutes and comes with a ceramic heater covered in stainless steal encased in glass for an enjoyable and tasty glass on glass vaporizing experience. The woodwork is wonderfully done, very smooth and heavy duty. The heating element is also adjustable like the vaporbros so you can find that perfect temp. The whip is great and heavy duty glass with vinyl tubing. All in all i love this new vape and i rarely use my aromazap now. I get great big hits, and it conserves my herb so much b/c it is very efficient, and the price and quality is outstanding. I would recommend that you guys seriously check this vape out b4 other. You can find it at vaporking.net or ebay.

before buying a vaporking vape, i searched around the internet for some user reviews or anything to go by, and only found the forum "reviews" obviously written by a vaporking employee. since my vaporbrothers vape burnt out i needed a new one and was in a pinch, so i bit the bullet and bought the vaporking one off ebay. well, im not sure about other people's, but the vape i received sucks ass, and high-level customer service is a cold as a witch's tit. now, im a picky individual, so i may be rather critical, and yes i am biased towards the vaporbrothers vape. i have a lot of experience with the vaporbrothers vape (4 years) and the volcano (1 year). okay, not too much experience, but you get it. on to my critique of the vaporking p.o.s. i bought it off ebay for a good price; with shipping it was under $80. theyre based inside california, and i too live in cali, yet it took over a week to reach me. when it finally came, the lack of packaging materials surprised me. literally a vape throw in a cardboard box with the whip and a few stickers and crap. the only bubble wrap/packaging was around the glass bowl on the whip, but not around the mouthpiece well, as long as it wasnt broken, right? the vape itself seemed to be of interior wood compared to the vaporbrothers vape. its slightly wider, and lacks any rubber feet to keep it from moving when in use. on mine, the temp control knob rubs against the surrounding wood so its not smooth to turn, and takes a bit of effort. the power cord seems to be of the cheapest bargain basement type (super thin and flimsy). The vaporking vape also gives no indication of it being on, albethis a luxury, i missed the lights from my vaporbrothers vape. the whip itself is short, with the vaporbrothers' being about 1.5x longer. also, the glass bowl of the whip doesnt cradle the heating element when the two are put up to each other like the vaporbrothers one does; in other words, the vaporbrothers' bowl goes slightly around the heating element when placed to it to secure a sturdy contact, the vaporking heating element and bowl are of the same diameter so the bowl can slide off to the side easier. like the vaporbrothers' vape, the vaporking has its heating element inside a glass tube. with the vaporking vape, the hole at the end of this tube(to which you place the glass bowl), is rather large, large enough for small herbs to fall into and become stuck in the gap between the heating element and glass tube, since my heating element falls to a side and isnt stationary/secure. in my specific vape, the glass tubing/heating element comes out of the wooden box enclosure by about an inch, contrary to the pictures shown in their advertisements. i emailed them about this and they said all their vapes are handmade, and so they vary somewhat. they were nice enough to ask if i wanted a different vape with a shorter tube, but i never took them up on the offer. phew, with the nitpicking aside, on to the real problems!! sure its not at refined as a vaporbrothers vape, but how does it actually vape, afterall, that is the main reason most of us are buying it for. vaporking recommends you set it to about 2/3 power, wait 30 seconds, then enjoy. and so i followed. it turned on, warmed up, but then i started to smell something, something strange. i still cant really describe the smell, but its this weird scary burning smell. the first night it wasnt too bad, but still noticeable. i took a few hits and it worked pretty well. its just that, it was not only smelly, but my hits started to taste funny, so with that, i decided to retire it for the night. the next night i gave it another go, this time the smell, if i left the vape on for a while, would fill up the room, so for me, that was enough and i had to email vaporking. they replied, "The vaporizer was just built. It may need to air out for a couple of days for the natural finish on the wood to be completely odor free. The heating element is not supposed to give off any odor. If it does, we will switch it out for you." it was definitely the heating element giving off the odor, and because of that, i just didnt feel safe with using it, so emailed them for a refund, saying if the transaction went smoothly, id still be happy to give them positive feedback. i was greeted with "The listing clearly states that the return policy is exchange only within 72 hours of receipt. There is no clause for a free trial and return for exchange if the item has a whip that is shorter than you prefer. Since you are now threatening negative feedback, I have forwarded your complaint to squaretrade for mediation. They will be contacting you with my terms under which you will be allowed to return the item for a refund. VAPORKING" so now its being settled via squaretrade. so all in all, id stay away from vaporking vapes. pretty shoddy. although, i do have to say, as much as i love vaporbrothers vapes, theyre still by no means perfect. 1 year into owning it, it wouldnt turn on except for at full power. i have 2 friends that also bought a vaporbrothers vape, and now, the same thing has happened to theirs. every now and then itll work at all settings, but less than often. as for the volcano, its nice, but im not a fan of balloon bags, and i feel it uses too much herb. hope this helps anyone, because a review like this is what i was looking for before i purchased mine.

| Thanks for the detailed review. I haven't used a Vapor King, but I've heard some comments from 'less than satisfied' buyers. I do have a Vapor King experience to add-not about the vape but about their customer service or attitude-take your pick. I emailed them a question about the diameter of their heater tube because I was insterested in buying one of their whips (only $15) as a backup for my Vaporlight. I needed the tube diameter to make sure their whip would fit my vape. They emailed me a response, telling me that the tube diameter was proprietary information. Yeah, it's so proprietary that anyone that can lay hands on the unit can measure it. I guess I pissed them off because I wanted their whip but not their vape. Their attitude pissed me off too, and decided I would look elsewhere for a backup whip. As for your Vapor Bros crapping out on you, since it was 4 years old, I'm sure it was the early model, which crapped out on a lot of people. They have an updated heating element now, which I guess is more reliable, but the warranty is still only 90 days, so the better buy in a name brand box vape is the Vaporwarez Vapor Cannon 3G, with a 5 year warranty. If you do get your money back, I'd give it serious consideration. We've got some satisfied Vaporwarez customers here on the forum.

just for clarification: my vaporbrothers vape isnt 4 years old; its a wee bit over 2, the other 2 years were with another vaporbrothers vape. i still love these vapes and to this date really do like the company. also, i came up with a better reference to the weird ass vaporking smell. remember the creepy crawlers machine thingy that you could make plastic bugs with via cooking them with a light bulb? well, if you let them cook for a bit too long, thats sort of how my vaporking smells; definitely not something you want to inhale. the vaporcannon really does look like a good buy. 5 years is a crazy warranty!! i actually emailed vapor bros to see if they would actually repair my vape. im still waiting back from to hear from them though. i dont expect they will, but if they actually do, ill just be happy and content. i love everything about my vaporbrothers vape, and if they can bring it back to life, charge or no charge, ill love them, and stay with them. as for vaporking.. ![]()

I'm sure they can repair your VB. The problem has to be the heater or the heat control. There's not much else to go wrong. Since it works at full power, it sounds like the temp control has gone flakey. Good luck with it.

I own a Vapor King as well, and that review is right on the money. If you're new to vaping, I would suggest you go ahead and spend the extra money on something else because while the Vapor King is cheap, it took me at least a good 5 hours to figure out how to vaporize properly with it. Also have a extension cord handy becuase not only is the power cord cheap, I found it to be way too short to use comfortably without some sort of extension. I don't have any experience with any of the other vaporizers, but the whole thing has the feel of a cheap knock off right out of the box. BTW, any ideas as to why something branded as "Vapor King" has instructions from/for the "Pure Vaporizer"?

just to conclude my story of vaporking, heres what happened. i dont remember exactly where i left off and am just too lazy right now to look. so the loser i dealt with, representative of vaporking, brady daniel, opened a squaretrade case (where ebayers go to duke it out with words and eventually, hopefully, reach a mutual agreement) and said id get my refund if i never left any feedback. i said yes'm, but the day i was supposed to get my refund i got an email from lord brady asking if i sent back my vape yet. he never once mentioned this little nugget of info before our 'agreement', but whatever, hes a fag and i just want my money. his rationale was that 'a refund isnt a refund unless i sent back the product.' oh. and he said the day he received the vape id receive my refund. yes, how i believed him so. so then there the vape went, through the mail, onto his house, not at all too far from my own. of course the day the got the vape (verified by delivery confirmation) my refund was not to be found. knowing hes a reject and feeling bad for a man with two first names, i gave him a week. after a paypal claim and a letter to ebay or so, he finally emailed me to apologize since he was out of town, and then assured me id get my refund the following business day. sure. following business day, did i finally get the refund you ask? no. took him another week or so BUT I FINALLY GOT IT. what a shitty company and product. jesus, whatd it take to get my refund? 2 months? anyhow, vaporbros on the other hand is the exact opposite story. after a couple years of almost daily faithful service, it crapped out, and vaporbros said theyd repair it for only $35, shipping included for the trip back. they said it could take a couple months to do, but i got it back in like 3 weeks. the best part was opening it. it came with this card saying 'your vape has been upgraded with new parts to make it eleventy-hundred times more glorious' or something close to that. then i took out the vape and good golly , they just sent me a brand new vape with a heating element completely different from my old one!! oh, and it has a nicer knob. mmmmm. much better service than i ever expected. anyway, vaporking sucks.
