I read a post by VickiFL that said 10AM is the best temp to set your VaporBros but I have to say I have tried that several times now and I only get a little high. It is not the weed because when I adjust it to 12PM with the same sack it works much much better. I really want to be safe but I feel like I am just wasting all of my weed at 10AM. Do any of you feel the same way or do you all keep yours at 10AM? Would you say it is harmful to have it at 12? Also, someone said their is aluminum and paint or something that is heated and smoked in the vaporbros which makes it less safe, do you think that is true or if its a myth? I was thinking of potentially getting either a volcano or an herbalaire if one of them might be safer.

EDIT: Actually, I have been keeping mine past 12PM and almost toward the end. I guess I was remembering what I wanted to remember heh.

Your VaporBrothers is safe. Should be safe at any temperature, I have a knock off VaporBrothers, and its safe at every temperature. 6 PM baby, I've done it before.

That is great news! I only actually saw my weed burning one time and that was at the max temp which I never use anymore, it was actually on fire slightly and was definitely smoke. But now I never have that. My concern was that their was some bad chemicle or something that started to evaporate at burning temps just a bit higher than weed (benezol I think? benzol maybe?). Does anyone here know if 12PM is safe from that one?

Another thing someone mentioned about the VaporBros is that it has aluminum and plastic on the heating place or near it and it slowly gets evaporated into your lungs? Can someone confirm or deny that one? My final question is, do you think a Volcano would be safer? I heard that uses "medical grade equipment."

The important thing to remember is that THC and cannabinoids vaporize at a lower temp (starting under 300F) than the compounds you want to avoid (benzene, a known carcinogen, vapes at 200C, 392F). You can go as high as 185C. (365F) and still avoid the bad stuff. Even at low temps though, the longer your herb is exposed to heat, the more it'll cook. Experiment with low settings and see what does the trick. Also, even with a temp control, the longer your unit is on, the more likely it is to increase the temp. I usually turn mine off for awhile between sessions, or lower the temp setting, depending on which vape I'm using.
Lots of controversy about heating elements. Generally, the best elements are considered to be NiCr (nickel chromium iron alloy), surrounded by ceramic and then glass. Aside from safety, aluminum elements seem to have a higher failure rate.

i know this is bad and a waste but usually i just turn mine all the way up(i have a hands free vapor bros) and ive tried lower setting but it seems like i dont get as high. but it might be different for others. i like to get really high so even after i usually smoke my abv weed. im probably just ignorant though and hate not seeing my exhale.
