If you're not getting high from using a Volcano, then you're either not using it correctly or you're vaping some crap weed.

If you still think your Volcano sucks, I'll buy it from you for 75% of retail...

I've used a Volcano before and I definately love it!

Although Im not sure I like it as much as my whip style vaporizer, I like slowly getting high, observing the increasingly stronger and stronger effects slowly coming on. I have a journal that I write down my experiences in, its very interesting to read as time progresses what I describe.

I concur! I tried to fire up a thread a boot the S.V., but to no avail. I can only conclude that either
a) no one who posts here has the Super Vapezilla
b) the S.V. is so good those who have it forgot how to post
c) the S.V. an over-priced piece of shiat and no one wants to own up to getting it

My 'friend' bought one of those 'Aromazaps' off the Interweb without doing his homework. After weeks of pointless practice and technique refinement he was so un-steamed over it, the contraption was launched off of a short pier never to be used again. ...with that lesson in mind, I don't want to be the first to post the same story a boot the SV (or the Volcano).

Bringing it back round to the thread at hand, tokentogan: I have never used the Volcano, but have never ever ever heard of it not being enjoyed thoroughly by novice and expert alike. I don't mean to insult your vaping skills, but for that kind of dough... if it were me, I would thoroughly research my 'technique' from those who have experience with it to be sure you are following the same steps. Maybe you just have a lemon Volcano. Send it back to Deutschland for repairs.

Man I got my volcano and it's the sickest thing I've ever used. My friends who smoke about 3 times a day hardcore used it for the first time the other day and they just split a bowl of some good shit together and they claimed that's the highest they've ever been in their lives.

Maybe tokentogan's problem is the phrase in his 2nd sentence-"smoked out of it". You don't get smoke out of a vaporizer, at least not the good ones, and the Volcano doesn't get hot enough to combust herb. And one thing you get from smoke that you don't with vapor, is carbon monoxide (CO). And with CO you get that lethargic, laid out, stupor that you don't get with vapor (and you do get the CO with cigarettes, but you've also got that big time stimulant nicotine). Hell, I can vape every few hours and stay up all night, no problem. No way I could do that smoking, not without a lot of caffeine anyway. But long time smokers usually include the CO effect right in with the herb high, but it's two different chemical compounds and two different effects. If that's not the answer, then I give up, cause how can you not get wasted off a bag of Volcano vapor?

As for the Super Vapezilla, I don't own one and haven't used one, but quite a few people prefer it over the Volcano. I don't own a Volcano either (but have used one), but I get my vapor from both bags and whips on a regular basis. I use a herbalAire when I want a bag, and both a Vapolution and/or a Vaporlight when I just want a hit. For me, comparing bag delivery to whip is like apples and oranges. It usually takes more work with a whip unit to get to the same state (it's so easy to suck down a whole bag of vapor before you have time to realize you're already wasted), but they both do the trick. Anyway, back to the Vapezilla. Is it worth the money? As nice a unit as it is, it's not worth it to me. I've got 3 units, one of which is portable, for less than one Vapezilla. I don't like forced air on a whip unit either. Give me a bag or a whip and my lungs, for total control. Also, a big consideration when you get into electronics and moving parts, is warranty. The SV has electronic temp control and fans. The SV also has no parts warranty. It has a lifetime labor warranty-big deal. A vape is a simple device to repair, and even easier to troubleshoot. You're replacing a part or sub-assembly. With the SV, the fans aren't too expensive-around $50. The digital controller will run you $200-250 (and I got these prices straight from Wicked Roots). So potentially, your expensive controller could die the first time you use it, and you'd have to ship it back and pay another 2 bills or so to get it going. That's too risky for my taste. I mean, it's not like the SV has some magical way to extract more THC than other units. Any good convection vape will do the job. If it's a whip unit you just have to learn the quirks of that particular model. Don't get me wrong. The SV is a really nice vape, and if you can afford it, and really want a forced air whip unit, go for it. A whip unit will have more temp fluctuation than a bag unit, so it's nice to be able to watch the temp as it changes, so you'll be able to compensate to keep it in range. The SV also has better taste than a bag model. But at $520 including shipping, you're into the law of diminishing returns as far as I'm concerned.

You don't smoke out of it but there is plenty of vapor whenever I exhale to make the appearance of smoking.

Thanks so much for that 5drive. Finally someone did some investigating on the device. Back when they were introduced, they were substantially cheaper than the Volcano, but I guess they hit the market and skyrocketed. Anyways, I didnt know they dont the warranty as you described. That alone would make my decision. So thanks.
