| Does anyone have experience with the VaporMatic Deluxe from Vapir? Or can anyone find a good review or two of it? Based on the stats, it looks like an awesome unit, but I can't find any real experiences with it. I got the vapolution recently and love it... but I want more ![]() I was going to buy a volcano, because I want something that works with a bag system, but after looking around I found out about the vapormatic. It's $300, works as a bag or whip, digital control, stainless steel construction, etc, etc... AND lifetime warranty Even if I can't find reviews on it, I'll probably get it, but I would really like to find some more info before being a test case. Also, in about 3 weeks Ill have full reviews of the vapolution and whatever other vape I decide to get... they will include pics tips etc... and videos as well if I can find a place to host them... maybe youtube? |

| Here's some info from someone I correspond with (a vaporbuddy? as in penpal). "Vapormatic Deluxe vs Vapir One: A Vapormatic Deluxe and a Vapir One heat their herbs very differently from each other even though they both have a maximum of 204C. The Vapormatic's temperature never fluctuated past 206C. I've seen the Vapir One fluctuate to 238C. At 204C my Vapir One could quickly burn St. John's Wort or Camomile. The Vapormatic only lightly browned them after two 10 minute sessions back to back! The 204C setting of a Vapormatic should be about the same as 170C to 180C of a Vapir One. It simply didn't get hot enough for what I was vaporizing. The Vapormatic has solved the problem of the leaking drive door of the Vapir One. No tape should be necessary. Bags filled without the problem of so much leaking air. One of it's four legs was shorter so it wobbled. My Fan Knob didn't match up with the numbers printed on the unit. My minimum was at the 9 o'clock position and the maximum was at 3 o'clock." Despite the fan knob mis-alignment and short leg, the Vapormatic (the Mystifire is the same unit with a different face design) is a good deal, considering it does whip or bag and has a lifetime warranty. The warranty is only good for the original owner though. |

| according to http://www.vaporizers.ca/herbs.asp cannabis needs 170C-185C If the max temp on a vapormatic is 204C and is equivalent to 170C on a Vapir One... it makes me a bit concerned that it might not be able to maintain a high enough temp I'm really torn between this and the volcano. It seems like this is the only vaporizer out there that is comparable or better than the volcano in terms of features, price, and construction. The question is if the vapormatic will deliver on it's claims. |

| 200C is the highest you'd want to go for mj, and you start getting THC at 140C. So if that's the herb you're interested in vaping, this model will do the job. They're not going to build a unit that won't get hot enough to vape herb. |

| i have the vapormatic and im finding that my main issue is overheating, for some reason every once in a while one of my discs will burn while im filling a bag and even though ive been working through trial-and-error fan and heat settings it still happens. my boyfriend, who uses the vapir one, made me a bag out of a standard oven bag that he taped a tube attachment to and i find that i tend to have the most success setting my temp to 172 celsius and filling the bag on fan setting 12 (preheating between 1-6). ive had it for a couple months now and have burned enough of of my stash to keep fooling with it without asking around to see if anyone has come up with a better procedure. i often blot a tiny bit of eucalyptus or sweet orange essential oil to my herb (adding a whole drop to a disc is too strong and wets the thc down too much) and that doesnt seem to affect the burning one way or another (..although ginger must have a low burning point cause that disc scorched almost immediately). any thoughts? tips? i also wanted to mention your warranties through vapir are voided by 420 use, i saw lots of mention that it is appealing when compared to the volcano but it says in the terms that if you dont have a doctors note, dont bother trying to use your warranty. lame--what if my heater is the problem, and not user error? i cant even think of it! someone, anyone, help! |

| Does anyone have a link to a picture of this vaporizer? I'm curious to see what it looks like. I'm also wondering if this is some kind of replacement for the VooDoo, which is basically the Vapir One unit. I know all about the vapor leaking from the drawer, and that is what had me curious.

| Nevermind, I found it. I read all about it, and from what I read, it sounds exactly like the Vapir One and Voodoo, except it's now in a stainless steel box. I have a feeling that the fluctuating temps will still be a problem. I would rather have another Vapor Brothers or a Volcano. I'd be willing to bet good money that this is a replacement for the Voodoo because they don't even make the Voodoo anymore. It appears they are trying to make a unit comparable to the Volcano, and they haven't done that yet. |

| I've been wanting another vaporizer, really badly. Just as back up, or to even give my Vapor Brothers a break once in a while. I am getting 100.00 of unexpected extra money, so I am seriously considering buying another Vapor Brothers unit. I just can't seem to find a good vaporizer in the mid price range. I swear by Vapor Brothers, but would love to have a Volcano, but they are just too expensive. If I could find a Volcano for a REALLY good price, I might consider dropping the 100.00 towards it. I am not sure what to do at the moment. I wouldn't waste my money on this Vapor Deluxe unit, though. I might make a new thread about this to get opinions.... |

| You're certainly not going to burn your herb at a true 150 C. That's barely over 300 F and you can vape without burning at 400 F. My suggestion would be to sell the Vapir if possible and buy something not made by Air2. The warranty on this vape (all Vapir models now) is only 90 days.
