For people who are experienced with vaping:

How many breaths worth of vape do you take before your herb is spent? I'm assuming a normal load of 0.2 grams of herb, so if you smoke more or less than that at a time please adjust your answer accordingly... e.g. if you take 15 breaths of vape for .3g, then you would multiply 15 x .2 / .3 = 10 so you would answer 10.

If you like, please also write a message telling what brand of vaporizer you use and how many breaths and what kind of breaths (big, small, quick, slow, etc).

Why do you assume that .2g is a normal load? I use more like .05g in a whip bowl. Personal preference. It also depends on whether you grind your herb or just break off a little piece. Is it old and dry or fresh and moist? Mid-grade, potent or weak? What's a normal hit? 5 seconds? 45 seconds? My first hit can last 45 sec., but after a hit or two the vapor is much too thick and strong to hit that long. And of course it depends on the type of vape you're using as well. You can easily fill your lungs in 5 sec. from a bag. There are too many variables and the answers are too subjective. This is not a 2 + 2 =4 type of question.

I noticed for sure that when I got some much danker bud the hits were much thicker and lasted longer.

But with my current nice bud I can load up like 0.2 into my vapir and hit it for a few minutes straight before it really starts to feel empty...usually I can pass a small bowl in the vape around a room of 3 or 4 people and we all get like 2 strong hits and a few weaker ones and we're all very gone.

I would think different vapes have different bowl sizes and different bud has different effects. A breakdown by brand might be more informative.
I get 2-4 hits from about .05-.1 grams with my vapolution

Temperature is also very important. The vape I have allows me to see what the actual temperature is. When I vape at around 275 - 285 F, I get about twice as many hits as I would if it were at 340 F.

With best stuff I ever had I could get at least 14 hits out of about .3 grams. These were big, thick hits that pricked at the back of your throat. When I packed around .8 grams, I got over 30 strong hits at 275 F.

Do you other people that vape prefer to take in stronger or weaker hits? I like to do strong hits that I can really feel in my throat. It took me a while to get used to the feeling though.

Yeah, the reason I was curious about this is that the "Superior Vaporization Technique" manual on the vriptech site says that if you pack a small load that you can get most of it in one inhalation, which is not my experience at all. I think I use about 20 inhalations for a .2g but that is using heat guns that are poorly thermally regulated... I have a Steinel 2310 heat gun being delivered tomorrow that should get the temperature more controlled and hopefully require less inhalations.

I voted 10-15. I've never bothered to count, but I'm guessing it's usually somewhere between 8 and 15. I use a Vapor Bros. and I like to have my hits as long as I can possibly get them and sloooow.

You're tempting me to bust out the vape now, but I'm on a 6-week break and I'm completely out of weed!
