| Hey all, I was wondering if anybody owned a vapezilla so that they could post a review. I know theres a review already on this forum, but I need some more reviews. I need to know how it ranks up with the volcano, and whether or not the super vapezilla is worth the extra 100 compared to the vapezilla. THANKS! |

| I've heard reports from people who prefer the SV over the Volcano, but to me the bigger decision is whether you want suck your vapor out of a tube or a bag. Either unit will do an effcient job. The Volcano is easy to use-no learning curve, all the hits are the same, the bag is obviously portable, and you have a warranty. The SV is a forced-air unit like the Cano, but it's a whip unit, so your hits will vary, depending on the state of your herb. You get better taste with the thicker vapor, but you can also get more vapor than your lungs can handle. If the digital controller craps out on your SV, you're looking at $200-250 for the repair, since there's no parts warranty. For this reason alone I'd prefer the regular Vapezilla, since the analog heater control is much simpler and therefore more reliable than digital. If you need more reviews from SV owners, be prepared to wait a good while. |

That being said.... I posted the SV review, and I stand by it. It works exactly as described, nothing more nothing less. There wasnt a lot of info out there, but this site and this site: ( http://vapeguide.com/vaporizer/super...a-reviews.html ) helped make a final decision. I'll skip the price point part, you can read my rantings about that in other threads. ANY good vape will pay for itself with its reduction in consumption of your favorite herb. To address your specific question: The best personality test / analogy I have for helping do determine buying ANY vape with or without the digital temp gauge is a car analogy: If you are the type of person who just shifts without looking at the tachometer, or you aren't even sure what the tachometer is: just get a dial/"set it and forget it" version because the readout will just bug you. If you are the type that loves to shift based purely on the tachometer, i.e. you know that your car shifts best at exactly 4200RPM's; then the digital readout might be more your speed. ***** I too would love to know how it stacks up directly to the Volcano. I've heard nothing but great things about the Volcano. There are even a few videos of it in action on YouTube. Personally, I find the turkey bags slightly more awkward... but thats just an opinion. Some people like chocolate, some vanilla. It'd be a boring world if everyone got the same ice cream. | |
