Default Just Got The Vapormatic...

Hi. I'm new to posting on these boards (been reading them for a little while now), but I felt the need to let people know about the Vapormatic Deluxe. I looked and looked for a review before I purchased it, but couldn't really find one that seemed unbiased or credible. Anyways...

I ordered the Vapormatic last week when I realized i wasn't going to be able to convince myself to buy a Volcano (my buddy has one... they really do rock). And the Vapormatic came with both whip and bag styles (and equipment) and a lifetime warranty (which is what finally convinced me to get this one). Going on...

This machine is great! I really do like it a lot more than traditional smoking methods. The vaporizer itself is not very big or very heavy (which I like) and looks like a small toaster (very, very retro- so much that if you hate retro, look elsewhere). I took it out of the box, plugged it in, ran it for a few minutes (like the manual said) loaded up a disc of *lol(not sure what to call it)lol*. It filled three of the packaged baggies on the first disc. Each baggie took less than a minute to fill. The machine heated up in less than thirty seconds (heat-up is blazing fast for me so far). I'm still trying to figure out the optimal fan speeds to use with which temperatures (because you have to control both), but it's not hard to figure out even on your first go at it.

The construction of the vaporizer seems pretty solid. I didn't notice any leaking vapors (especially when compared to other vaporizers I have used from this SAME company). I don't think I am going to have to tape anything up. But I will need to make some bigger bags if i can. lol.

Oh! I have also used it whip-style. The first thing you notice is the taste- much better than out of the baggie. One disc lasted me about twelve minutes of continuous pulls. It was nice, but I prefer the bag method just because i don't like to smoke alone most of the time.

Wow... that was a lot of rambling. lol.

All in all, I was a little worried about the Vapormatic Deluxe when I ordered it. But it really has surprised me and met all of my expectations. It is a sturdy machine, very easy to use, few parts to worry about and, if it breaks, i can just send it in. And it really gets the job done. I would give it an 8/10 (compared to a 9/10 for the volcano).

If anyone has any other questions or wants details about something in particular, just post a question and I will try to get back to you soon.

Welcome to the Lounge jazzcru. It's nice to see some info here on the Vapormatic. I've heard from one guy that has one, and I know they're selling, but owner reviews are scarce so far. I've been curious about this vape. It's the only digital model with a lifetime warranty and has both delivery systems. Hard to beat that combination. I did find out that the lifetime warranty is only good for the original owner.

If you want more bags I'd search for 'Toppits' on ebay. They're the Volcano bags and the 4 box deal for about $15 from mydiscountlighter is the best price I've seen. Those vapir bags are too expensive.

You're right about the retro look too. Don't care for it myself. The same unit can be had with a different look though. It's also sold as the 'Mystifire'. Harder to find, but discountworldonline.com has 'em with free 2 day shipping.

I'm looking to drop some cash on a nice vape (i have a cheap wood box one now that isnt hands free) and im wondering if it is worth the extra $200 for the volcano over something like this.
