| for $10 i had to try one. i can honestly say that this thing is a piece of junk, im glad i didnt pay more to get like six of them. it looks very fragile like it would break in your pocket if you accidentally hit something. it is a few thin pieces of glass then for the mouth piece a couple crudely cut glass tubes glued to each other. the main part has a few holes in the end where hot air goes through. after messing around with a lighter for ten minutes at different distances i finally got a decent sized vapor hit out of it. just as i was getting the hang of it i burned all of the herb. i'll stick to smoking on the go. |

| it didnt have instructions? i saw an ubie for 10 bones that had instructions. you hold your lighter flame 2 inches away from the tube. also dont put the herbs in the back of the tube ------------------------------| ------------------------------l -----------------flame goes^^ -----------buds go ^^ hope you understand that lol. the buds are away from the glass area you light up. thats how it showed to do it i wanted to get one this x mas to try it out cause i cant find a nice CHEAP vape. if any one else knows about the ubie, please give your review :P |

| I followed the instructions, but unfortunately the 2" rule isn't really the end all of your problems. at 2" with the herb in the back of the tube nothing vaporized. 1" worked ok for a minute and then it burned. if you want a cheap portanle vape i saw a metal one that was the same size for $20 (this was after already ordering the ubie) i saw it in a small add in high times just like for the ubie but after it. ill try and find it but it looked a lot better like it would actually work well enough to use on the go. |

| I bet you are right, it probablyt is junk, but here's an idea that might make it work a bit better: Use a torch style lighter. ![]() Our standard BIC lighers direct heat upwards no matter what angle you hold it at making it hard to draw the correct amount of heat through a pipe or mini vap. With a torch style lighter, the heat can be directed in any direction making it easier to find that "sweet spot" of distance between the flame and the pipe/vap Just a suggestion. If you try it out, let us know how it works |

| Yeah you really need a torch for vaping. You can search for 'butane torch lighter' on ebay and find some under $10. But if it doesn't have a lock for the flame you could end up with a cramped thumb, and if it does lock, you could end up torching the wrong thing if you drop it. It's the price of cheap portability. |

| I have two Ubie's, and they work just fine for me. I do, however, have a couple torch type lighters that look like space shuttles, that I use with them, and they work better with those than a regular lighter. They just take a little practice, but I have never burned my herb in my Ubie.

| I just ordered mine today for 16.75 total with shipping from their website. That's the cheapest I could find it. After reading mostly good reviews about it I decided to try it. My girl friend is asthmatic and doesn't smoke but she is interested in vaporizing if it won't trigger an attack or choke her up too much. I keep reading about how far your herb will go by doing it that way. I'm waiting by the mailbox. We'll see. Oh yeah, and I need a butane lighter/torch right? |

| Regular smoking probably wouldn't trigger an asthma attack either, would it?
