Ok, here's the situation... For school, I bailed from Humboldt County, now I'm in this place with hardly any CHRONIC bud. And the best sh*t is way expensive. So I'm always trying to find a way to get high with less, I started buying in bulk, that saved me a few bucks.. But I'd really like to not have to use as much to get baked. Also, I'm away from the house from 6am-11pm, M-Th-F. So whatever I take, has to be *pretty* portable. Right now I have a hollowed out Sharpie marker that can hold a nice sized J that I keep in my binder, plus a small odorless container where I can store my piece and a few bowls. Of course smoking Js all the time cuts in on my stash pretty quickly, and with it being as expensive as it is, a good vaporizer would be nice to cut back on the costs. Willing to spend: $150-300 (I'm not really interested in a $500+ vape as I am looking for one to SAVE money. ;-) (portable would be nice, but I would buy a nice one for the house too) [edit] I'm kinda leaning towards the Vapor Brothers, since I've heard a lot about them and the price is very reasonable. I was also looking at the portable Vapir, since it's, well.. portable. But I read on here someone saying they have problems with their fans, etc. etc. What are some of the Vaporizers you guys would recommend for Budget+Performance= ?

I have the VooDoo Vaperizer and would recomend it to you. It is small and very simple to use. The only problem I had was the bags didn;'t seem to work that great, so I just use the hose. Other than the VooDoo I dont have a lot of experience with vaperizers so Im not sure how it compares with other brands, But the lady at the head shop recomended it and I have had really great experieces with it.

The Voodoo is the same as the Vapir One V3/V4. It works well but the fan has not been reliable. The Vapor Brothers or Vaperwarez are good box units, but you don't have to pay $150 for a good box vape. You can pick up a Pure Vaporizer/Vapouriser on ebay for $75 plus shipping. The Pure has been around for 4-5 years and has a horizontal heater tube, so your herb stays where it's supposed to-in the whip/bowl. I've seen this unit advertised with a five year warranty (Gotvape.com), but mine came with a 90 day guarantee. Heating elements are dependable these days though, so with a basic analog box unit, all you really have to worry about is breaking glass, and no vape warranty covers glass. You can also get the iVape (very similar to the Pure), with a 1 yr. warranty on the heating element, for just over $100 with shipping from discountworldonline. The Vapolution is my choice for dependability/portability/taste. Even without the optional battery pack you can use the supplied car adapter and take advantage of its 12v DC operation. It's narrow diameter bowl makes it harder to use dry ground herb, but other than that it's a great vape for the money ($150).
