I received my Volcano vaporizer 2 days ago and I'm so happy I ordered it. I wanted to tell people the volcano really gets you high. The high is the same as smoking it. My only hope was to get the same high as you would get off a joint or bong, etc. And I'm really impressed! I've been experimenting with it, and I've learned that it can get you as high as you want. Same as you would if you keep packing bong loads. I use regular chronic and pack 1/4 gram and get super high. It's the shit hands down It may cost 5 bills but it's worth it. Oh, if you pack 1/2 gram you will get to fu#*in high, I'm serious to much gets you too high! Believe me I'm no light weight smoker either, peace

i hear you on that. It wouldnt make sense to me to buy a volcano but I know someone that has bought one and I would say they are awesome but I feel that a vapor brothers with over an ounce would be just as sufficient

I've owned a Volcano for a few months and concur--it's the tits!

A few observations:

Ultimately, the high is exactly the same as smoking. But you definitely have to find the proper weight/temp for your personal happy zone.

Regardless, I'd say the Volcano isat leastas efficient as smoking. I've found that my stash last justs as long not even including all the abv that I have left over that I know still works well for cooking.

Keep your screens nice and clean. There's only one screen that really gets gunked up. Use alcohol or some other solvent. Makes a difference.

You're in the minority in that opinion. If you set your temp in the 'safe range', under 400F, vaping gives you the compounds you want without most of the toxins you get from smoke. With smoking you get much higher levels of benzene and carbon monoxide. At 365F, you avoid benzene entirely, along with fellow toxins toluene and naphthalene. Benzene, besides being a carcinogen, can make you drowsy and dizzy. Carbon monoxide, also a poison, has the same effect. At high enough levels (higher than smoking though), these compounds can take you from drowsy and dizzy to death. Thus it makes sense that the biggest difference people observe in vaping is the more alert, energetic feeling vs. smoking.

The first and only time I've used a Volcano, we vaped some bomb bud. The high just came on to me so suddenly. I couldn't believe how stoned I was.

It is efficient, since it has excellent temp control and a constant air flow. As for taste, bag delivery takes a back seat to a good whip vape, since with a bag, your vapor is always diluted with air. I use both types-bag for convenience but either one of my direct draw vapes, Vapolution or Vaporlight, has much better taste. Your vapor is concentrated with direct draw, like the difference between a mixed drink and a straight shot. As for out-doing the SV, that's a matter of preference. If you like the bag, you won't like the SV, and vice versa. I've run across several people that have used both and some prefer the SV, some the Volcano.
