Default What do you think about this Vape?

I haven't seen it before but it looks nice and compact and simple, if I understand how to use it. I think it just heats up and you inhale through it so it does not have a forced fan inside but you just learn the right temp for you herbs and then learn how hard to pull on it and it actaully alows for more precise hits once you have it down. But I'm not positve exactly how it works but at $99-$124 the price is decent for its portablitly. I couldn't find a owners manual on their site if anyone else does post it. I think its called the Oxygen Mini. Anyhow what do you guys think?

I guess you just suck the hot air through the herb. the machine most likely has herb disks that you just stick the buds in, and suck the hot air THROUGH. but that would really suck if it was a phedor type and it burned the hell out of you, so id look it up.

I wanted some info on this vape too, so I contacted air-2 (Vapir) a while ago. Here's some info:

What is the length of the unit?
Maybe 4-6 inches roughly (it is quite small)

Does it use the same herb disks as your other vaporizers?
No it does not use herb disks

Is the battery built into the unit or separate?
It is separate becuase the unit is so small

I don't know the expected life of the battery, but the replacement/extra battery is $40. It's a NiMH battery, good for 1 hr. continuous use, and 8-12 hours needed for charging. A battery pack for this size vape shouldn't be very big, but I don't the actual size. You can also use the included power adapter or a car adapter. The vape will shut down after 20 minutes of continuous use to prevent overheating, and has to cool down for about 15-20 min. before you can use it again. Unlike any other vape I've seen, you start out on this one by exhaling into the mouthpiece 2-4 deep breaths. This is supposed to help heat the herb more evenly.

They will email you a manual in PDF format if you ask.

I've seen these on ebay (sold by the manufacturer) for $100 with free shipping.

Shuting down after only 20 minutes is a problem I didn't know that and could see that geting in the way a lot. Yea the exhale at first is wierd too but no big deal if you eventualy just inhale and get your vapor. The shut down though is something I'd have to double check is that with the battery or also with the power adapter, I'd use it more with the power adapter. It was the size and simplicity that caught my eyes but shuting down often is a no go for me unless other info really makes it shine. Size and Price is good looks like function may be average.

I have a Voodoo vaporizer, which is basically the same thing as a Vapir One, who makes this new vaporizer. All of them have this auto shut off feature, and I hate it. It does get in the way, a lot. That's why I use my Vapor Brothers vaporizer, mostly.

That's good real use info and word of mouth is powerful and I'll be passing not only on this one but I'll be checking any I'm going to buy to make sure there is no auto shutoff. I know of a some that have no problem being left on all day(not that I would) but even just and hour at a time would suffice. One less mistake I could have made eliviated.

What the fuck? 4-6 inches roughly? Vapir can't tell you the demensions of their own product? 2 inches is a pretty large margin of error.
