I rinsed out my whip today, and replaced the screen. It was actually easier than I thought it would be. It was certainly easier than changing the screen in my Vapor Brothers whip, that's for sure.

I used a Vapor Brothers brand replacement screen because they are more sturdy. It fit just fine. I ended up using a q-tip and a straightened paper clip to get the screen in place.

I also soaked all four parts of my stainless steel grinder today (in 91% alcohol), and it now looks brand new again.

I always collect a lot more kief right after I have soaked/cleaned my grinder. My stainless steel kief holder should be pretty full, very soon. That is if I can just keep my hands out of it.

All in all, I am quite pleased at how well all my cleaning went today.

Always nice to have clean things. I just cleaned out my pipe the other day. It hits really nice and hard now, and the bowl actually cacks out now. Did you end up saving any of the stuff that came off your grinder?

There wasn't really any to save. The alcohol was a nice pretty green color, but I am not well enough to bother trying to extract such a small amount.

Congrats on the successful cleaning process. I have one of those 4 piece aluminum grinders. The bottom section is called the "pollen tray." Does anyone know what this is and how to use it?

OK so when your grinding your bud up crystals will fall off, into teh collector. When you have a nice amount in there you can use the pick that came with it (if its a space case) or a guitar pick, just something to scape the crystals off the bottom. What you have at the bottom is called keif. It is very potent, almost all THC. I'd put all the keif into a film canister or something similar. When you want to get really high, load a little bit on top of a bowl, that has atleast one nug in the bottom so you don't suck all the keif through, and smoke away!!!
