I vape almost exclusively seeing as how I'm having a hard time finding weed lately and vaping conserves a lot of weed.

I use Vapor Bros. and seeing as how that's a whip vaporizer, I just keep in mind that you don't need to inhale hard. Just inhale soft enough that you hear the vape whistling and then gradually inhale softer from there and you should be OK. I set my vape at about 9:30 (going by the knob) and I've been fine so far. After a few hits, stir your weed around and maybe turn the vape up a litle bit (to about 10:00-10:30).

Just take long, slow hits and you'll be fine. Vaping conserves so much weed.

So I got myself a VaporKing to save me some money, and now is the first chance I've gotten to try it. And it's left me with a few more questions because I think my friend and I are not doing something right. He says he feels nothing, but I think I got a mild buzz off of it.

How brown should my ABV herb look if it's done and done right? My eyesight is a little off because it's allergy season and I'm having eye issues, but what we had when we were done looked like it still might a have a tinge of green to it. I'm wondering if I was too busy trying not to burn it to actually get it hot enough to vape properly. Although I'm a little concerned if we're not getting it hot enough, because where we set it at is pretty close to the end of the knob.

Also the settings we're using really burns the back of our throats although we can not visually confirm if we're getting anything for our trouble. It's a sharp burn that is more easily soothed with a sip of water compared to the burn you get while smoking, but it's still an unpleasant burn.

Another concern is that my herb might be too dry. What we used has been sitting in a pollen collecting grinder for well over a week. I wonder if it would help to throw it into a baggie with an orange peel or does moisture level makes no difference in the vaping experience?

Or perhaps we just need to take some time to sit with it and adjust things in a very scientific manner. I'll have to take a camera and take some good pics of it, if anyone wants a closer look at the Vapor King.

You should see your vapor. If your not, most likely your not geting it hot enough, Go ahead a turn it up more don't worry if you burn it a tad you can back it down as you learn it. Also rate of draw is key if your pulling to fast the air is not hot enough to vape. YOU SHOULD USE A GRINDER FOR FAR BETTER HITS. Mist your ground up herb with a water spay bottle let it sit for 5 minutes then it should be good, but trying to vape a tight dry bud is the toughest thing of all. But, you should definately see some vapor when you exhale if you do it right. I have lighter based vapes and on my second draw after I have heated the heating element for 5-8 seconds on the first draw I always get a nice big white vapor, then I get a total of 5-10 hits per bowl. The first vapor is by far the best in size they shrink after that but you will still be geing vapors all the way through hit 6-10 depending on your herb. When you do it right You will get lit. Vaping can have a softer clean feel when you don't do very much but if you do a lot you will get *&$@ faced.

I only smoke legal herbs, when I come to these forums and discuss things like smoking and the high one gets I'm referring to the feeling I get from legal herbs and have no information on what others are smokeing or reffering to. I don't smoke marijuana but do enjoy discussing and talking about legal herbs and the high from different legal smoking methods and all my post should be viewed in that light.

If you have never tried one before, how can you be sure you wouldn't want to convert?

I'm somewhat on your side though, I enjoy the process of packing, flicking, and smoking. However, vaping does taste great, conserve buds, and leave less smell (if thats a concern).
