The gotvape review says they didn't get any vapor, but instead got toxic fumes. Research says that the toxic fumes occur when the weed is heated past normal vaping temp, not necessarily from the heater itself. Sooooooooooo, If the gotvape review would be accurate, I'd be curious to know how they got the weed heated up enough to give off toxic vapors, but somehow not hot enough to get any vapor... I can picture their response, "I'm not sure how. I just know that's how it was when we tested it." Bottom line is heat up the weed too much and you're likely inhaling toxic byproducts of the burning weed; the same shit you'd inhale if you were smoking it normally.

| I agree with raisebot. You don't get toxins that release at 400F and not get any vapor. I'm inclined to believe they had two Digivapor units that didn't work. Probably poor quality control. That's pretty bad, but it's quite a leap to say none of them work. I think they know better than that. A low blow from Gotvape. UrbanTurban, I'd be real interested in knowing if you get good results, vapor wise, when the display reads in the range of 365-385F. If Digivapor is like most box vapes, straight up (12 o'clock) on the dial should be high enough but not too high. Use the display for a reference point-try to keep it steady, and don't worry too much about the temp that's displayed as long as you're not turning your weed black. You can't expect the cheap units to be as accurate as a $500 vape.

| I havce had a vapor brothers and now a vapor warez with the same design. Don't know it was answered or not, but... I put a book or something under the back of my back to point the element down, or more horizontal, that way the weed doesnt' fall out of the whip!! Good question, and congrats on the new vape! Everything everywhere has bad or good reviews, it is your money, your vape, if you are happy, then you succeeded with your goal!! Good luck!

At the 12 o'clock position, it reads 65-66, and at the 3 o'clock position it reads about 97. I've had best results so far by preheating to about 95 for about 5-10 minutes, then lowering it to about 80. This turns my weed about a dark orangish/brownish color. Leaving it at the 12 o'clock position (65-66) is inadequate for vaping my bud. edit- then again, maybe 12 o'clock has been inadequate for me since I've been breaking up my weed by hand, and maybe I'm not getting it fine enough.

| I got one of the newer versions of this. the hands free one. I read goes from 1 all the way to like 600 or so. I wish they didn't use it as heat level as it's doesn't make much sense and would have been more sensible to use F. I'm still toying with mine at what levels that vapor starts to get at. i believe it works well for me around 120, but im not exactly sure. |

| I just got one of these digi vapor units and when I use it the hand piece gets really hot really quickly (obviously) and when this happens the glue that holds the handpice to the metal melts and it falls off. Ive tried to place the hand piece on the heat only when I am pulling it, and keeping the piece away from the heat when im not pulling, but it still heats up really quickly and the glue melts. Is this a problem for anyone else? and does anyone have a suggestion to fix it? I have thought about new glue or something like duct tape or even rubber bands to hold it in place, but i feel like each of these would just melt too. Any helllllllllp? Cheers |

| I don't know why a handpiece/whip would use glue at all. Even if it held together I wouldn't want any glue in the vapor path. A glass whip/bowl, using just a screen, attached to tubing is the configuration that almost all vape makers use. If I were you I'd look for a replacement whip. Dealers like Gotvape, Vaporstore, and sellers on ebay offer vape whips that don't use glue. Just try to make sure the heater end of the whip fits over the heater tube on your vape. |

| I'm not sure about that problem. I have had a problem with my whip too. For some reason the threading never felt right to me. I took it apart once and maybe used this vap about 6 times or so. I shipped it back to my apartment since I bought it when i was home. Well when it got here the threading was stripped and doesn't hold either. I just contacted where i bought it and am now being shipped a new whip. You may want to try that. I almost wish i bought another vap, but this one is pretty decent. Price isn't so nice though. |

| yea, i think thats whats going on with mine too...i used the device and it melted again and i left the 2 pieces apart this time instead of letting the glue dry with the pieces in place...I cleaned out the glue and stuff and now the threads dont fit together...its almost like someone broke it or something before i bought it, then they tried to glue it back together cuz the threads dont work, and then just assumed it would work and the glue wouldnt melt, or that i wouldnt ask about it. either way im gonna ask about it and i hope to get a new piece shipped to me (i moved RIGHT after i bought mine too)...the vap works fine besides that part tho! |
