Anyone else have a digi-vapor vp-100? Just picked one up and wondering if anyone can share there techniques and temp settings.

I don't have one, but the basics are the same for any whip vape. Hit the whip slow and steady so your vaping temp stays constant. Turn the temp up far enough to turn your weed brown but not black. This thread has some Digivapor info:

HOW TO WORK YOUR DIGI VAPOR!

1. Turn on a relatively low setting and allow time to heat up... 5-10 minutes.

2. brake up herb and pack into bowl so that it doesnt fall out... you want just enough to cover the entire screen fully.

3. place bowl on heating element... herb should be packed down enough so it doesnt fall out.

4. puff a few times... after a few hits turn it up a little bit and keep going.

5. once it starts to taste funny (kinda like popcorn) you can look in the bowl and if ther is still green, mix it up and go again.

6. if you're not high... get better buds.


the key is to find the right temp for the bud and smoke it from low to high so it doesnt start to smoke.

All I can suggest is if you smell any wierd odors, toss it.
If its functional, just experiment with temps/inhalation methods.

these vaps suck....i bought one and it broke after the first use....took it back to the store and the guy wouldnt take it back, saying i need to contact digi-vapor.....except i cant find anything on them....so these vapes suck

If you can't find a vape maker's website and contact them, then you're at the mercy of the headshop, ebay seller, whatever. Digi-Vapor is a perfect example. A lot of them out there but they're made by a company you can't find in a factory somewhere in China. I don't know whether they're worse than some other generic Chinese boxes, or just that there are more of them sold, but way too many of them break down or are bad right from the start.

The store you bought the vape from got it from a distributor who should back it up. It's pretty standard that after 30 days you have to deal with the manufacturer for repair, but if your vape didn't last but a day or two, the shop should have replaced it. In effect, they sold you a vape that costs about as much as a DVD recorder that has no warranty at all.

this headshop is known for being douche bags tho, so i did everything to try to get an exchange or something but the guy would not budge so i was finally like fuck you

ive been attempting at repairing it myself, thus far i have managed to get the light to work again

i just bought one of these the other day, me and my friend preheat it at 180 for about 5 mins then we turn it down to around 65 and that seems to get a good vape going. I really like this product it works really well imho.
