I just got this glass vaporizer for $25 bucks at this headshop but I can't figuire out how to use it

Here she is:



I held the lighter under the glass forever, barely any vapor came out..

I need like step by step or something, I'm dumb.

not sure in what way that is a vape, there is no heating element, or whip or anything, kinda like a galssbulb vape I guess. Maybe more heat would work, try a torch.

it is indeed a vape, but it's about as cheap of one as you can get and you're not going to get much more t han the little hits y our getting now.

If I go back to the headshop, what can I buy to make her work? I need a screen or whip or something?

I'm not 18 so I need as much help as possible since I can't buy anything there (they don't ID me when I go in though)

That's a pitiful looking excuse for a vaporizer. A Ubie would be a better choice and $5 cheaper. Or a VaporGenie at $45-50 would be worth the extra money. I know you're at a disadvantage because of your age, but in a headshop you're depending on their advice and your selection is limited to what they sell. Use this forum and vape sites to educate yourself about decent vaporizers. Learn the difference between conduction vapes (think hot plate-the fishbowl looking thing) and convection, where heated air is passed through the weed. Convection is the better method by far.

As for your crack pipe/vaporizer, you may be able to get some vapor out of it without burning your weed, fingers, or mouth, but I'm just guessing. A torch type lighter would be best. Don't apply the flame directly to the glass. Maybe insulate your fingers so you don't drop the thing when it gets hot. Watch for vapor and toke slowly and gently as you try and maintain your temp with the lighter. Turn your weed black and you've burned it. I don't expect you'll get a satisfying experience with this so-called vape, but don't judge vaporizing based on just using this little pipe.

I'm wondering why you want to use a vape. Does smoke bother you? Has someone told you that you can get twice as high using half as much weed? Not true. Vaping (if you don't burn it) will give you a slightly different high (less couchlock). You'll avoid some toxins. It's a lot easier on the lungs. But it's also more difficult and time consuming than smoking. Decent hardware is more expensive. Don't get me wrong. I'm definitely an advocate for vaping. But it can be a tough method to use if you're underage. If you're set on a pocket sized, butane powered vape, I'd save up for a VaporGenie.
