"if i fill the last few bags on a setting like 9 does that burn it?"

9 is about 440F. That's verging on the point of spontaneous combustion. You might as well be smoking.

You're using .2g of good weed in one session just for yourself? That much is enough to keep me and the wife baked all night-using bags. Different tolerance levels make comparisons difficult but....

As the instructions point out - fill the chamber with at least enough pot to completely cover the screen. Gently push the 'insert piece', the little rod with a screen attached to the bottom of it down into the chamber till it is just touching the material ( is this the "little round silver thing" you were referring to?)
Put the filling chamber on top of the volcano (without the balloon assembly attached!)
Turn on the blower and watch carefully until you see the 1st signs of a stream of vapor.
Snap on the balloon assembly. This will eliminate unwanted air into the bag.
The bag should start to fill. At settings between 5 and 7 or so you should see an obvious stream of vapor enter the bag.
Note that the bag size is not that important to the operation of the machine. It's size is specific to how you typically use it. The default size is + - 60 cm or + - 20 inches. That works fine.

Whether this was a new or used machine when you bought it make sure you check all the O-rings to make sure they are in the right place and are in good shape. Check all of the screens to make sure they are not clogged up. The screens will typically get compromised pretty fast with the resins from the pot. I clean mine after every 3 or 4 uses. Just soak them in rubbing or denatured alcohol till they clear..
Make sure that the bags are properly attached to the valve assembly with the two o-rings provided. If you don't have this right then you will have leakage when trying to fill the balloon. Note that the 2nd o-ring has been replaced in newer versions with a 'quick clip'.

oh and does it matter if that silver insert piece that you push down sometimes rises up with the air blowing?

I'm not sure if I understand your question.
How can you tell since you can't see it?...

I'm guessing then that you mean when you have the filling chamber on top of the volcano (without the balloon assembly attached)........
If so then make sure your herb is ground properly. Are you using a grinder? And that the herb is not too moist. And that the insert piece is seated properly atop the filling chamber. You'll know if it's not because when you attach the bag assembly and turn the blower on you will get some 'blow by', that is, some of the vapor will be escaping the confines of the bag. If there is no blow by then the bag should fill properly unless the screens are clogged or the o-rings are missing, the wrong size or cracked etc.

Yes

Note: before we proceed please review the items I outlined in my responses and tell me if each one is OK or not.
That would help me to help you as best I can...

hey thanks for the detailed reply. The O rings all appear to be fine. The chamber came put together, and the valve came with a bag attached even though this thing was new. Although everything looks like it is attached correct based on your posts.
Oh and I cleaned everything so I'm sure nothing is clogged. The piece in the filling chamber I was describing sometimes blows up when I have the chamber on to preheat for 3 secs before putting on the bag. I do ground up my herb very finely, sometimes even as fine as sand for this. And it is not moist, but not too dry. But I've tried making it dryer too. Still no luck...
what do u think?

I can tell you that grinding your weed "very finely" is neither necessary or desirable when using any decent convection vaporizer. And if your weed is moist it'll just take longer to vaporize. No big deal. If it's dry it'll vape faster but it'll also be more harsh as well. I certainly wouldn't put any effort into drying it out.

Back to you Sterbo.
