ok so i bought it on ebay (new) ... after waiting anxiously for it to arrive i read every know how/how to post on here to get some knowledge on how to use this thing... ive packed chambers full with .5 or as little as .2 .... ive started on settings like 5.5 or 6.. etc ... but everything im getting is weak... ive put like 1g through this thing in 2 hours and my lungs hurt from inhaling so much air!... if id put this good stuff through a bong id be out cold... what am i doing wrong! i feel like i wasted my money and was expecting so much more...

oh and im using the bag that came on the valve btw (its new but it came with a bag attached)

Is the bag filling up properly? How is your herb looking after each session? Once you get the thing working right, you will be very happy with it. Did you read the instructions that came with it?

i fully read the manual and tons of guides... it seems like the bag is filling properly... the first bag ill get some decent vapor but nothing special... second is worse... the herb looks brown and kinda cooked/baked looking when its done... im using good stuff... i dunno... this is very disapointing...

how big are your bags... im using the one that came on it and it seems rather large to fill all the way and do a few bags in a row... thats alot of air.. with no results for me.. im blowing little bits of vapor though... but very thin...

Hmmm well you should be able to get around 5 - 10 bags with each bowl. I don't actually own a volcano, I was just seeing if I could help out in any way but I'm stumped. Sit tight, some should be able to help you out. The vapor won't be super thick

There are some videos on youtube.com (search 'volcano vaporizer') that may help you. Haven't watched them myself so I can't really say. I don't have a Volcano, but I do use the same bags on the herbalAire. I like 'em a bit smaller though. I use small amounts, maybe .05g-.1g, and get a bag or two out of it. 1st bag will be the thickest vapor, but the 2nd bag will be worth it too, even with the minimum I use (.05g). Unless you have a 2nd bag ready to go, I wouldn't use any more than 1 bag's worth of herb.

As for why you're not getting decent vapor, I'm stumped. A setting of 5-6 is plenty high for getting all the THC while stopping short of most toxins releasing. If you need a higher setting to get good vapor, I'd say there's something wrong with your particular unit. And keep in mind that the toxins you're avoiding at a setting of 5-6 greatly contribute to the couch lock aspect of smoking. Vaping is a more energetic high. There's more of a difference in the high between vaping and smoking than there is between different strains of pot IMO. Good luck with it. I'm sure you'll get your problem resolved sooner or later.
