Heres my take on the Herbalaire H2.1 Vaporizer (mini volcano), but first a little background. I have used a vaporizer once in my smoking/vaping career. I am by no means an expert on vaporizers *5drive*, but I do know what I expect from my marijane.

I ordered the Herbalaire vaporizer from ebay for a final price of $214.99, MSRP is $249.99, so I got a good deal. It came with a bunch of goodies, so I was very satisfied with the dealer and the transaction as a whole. When the package arrived, I immediately dug in with my resin coated fingertips. I got the device out and turned to the manual for proper procedures. It takes a good 10 minutes to read everything you need to know about the proper use and maintenance, but its a necessity if you want it to function properly and keep working for a long time.

Setup:
Plug in base, plug in pump. Connect the two together using the provided tube. Put favorite legal herb in crucible (bowl). .3 grams is a sufficient amount, fills a bag and a half. Put mouthpiece over crucible, then mouthpiece extension inside mouthpiece. Attach bag and turn dial to 365 degrees. It takes about two minutes to heat, and an amber light indicates when it is ready. Once amber led is lit, flip switch on pump to fill the balloon with vapors. After about 2 minutes, the bag is completely full with a very light mist. Once it is full, you proceed to kick off the pump and pull out the bag. You can attach another provided bag to get the last few hits of vapor from the bowl while you are puffing on the first bag (very efficient).

Taste Test, Quality Test:
As soon as the first drag hit my lungs, I realized why this machine is so great. Its such a cool, smooth and consistent vapor, you can't even feel them in your lungs. One could easily take down the whole bag and refrain from coughing, or even feeling it in your lungs for that matter. After holding the hit for about 5 seconds, I exhaled an even lighter smoke/vapor. THEN IT HIT ME, the taste is to die for! I was in awe over the aftertaste left in my mouth. Its like eating burnt toast all your life, then realizing you dont have to burn it to get a more satisfactory taste. Great analogy right . You have to guage your hit appropriately, especially if you have never used a vape. Its really easy to take the whole bag to the dome, but show some respect and moderate your hits. The bag went around about 8 times, 2 hits a piece between four people. Remember, I stated earlier that I only used .3g's of some regs, so it goes around pretty well considering the amount. This is where I realized the conservation potential the device has. Meanwhile the other bag is filling about halfway with the remaing vapors. We suck that bag down to total about 12 hits per .3g's bowl. Not too shabby right?

Final Summary, Pros/Cons
Pros:
*Taste. Unmatched by any other method. Cannot compare taste to another vapor as I have not experimented with any to speak of.
*Ease of use. Have a bowl from start to finish in about 4-5 minutes with little effort.
*Health. Although Im not going to notice any short term results, in the long run, it will absolutely benefit my health. Its just so easy on your lungs.
*Quality. The device is very clean, and has a practical design.
*Conservation. By far the most efficient way to enjoy your herb.
*Practicality. You can set it in any room and walk away until your bag is full.
*Dual Intake. You can choose to use a bag, or direct hit for ultimate taste and quick drags.

Cons:
*Bag has small leak at top, easily fixable with a dab of hot glue or tape.
*Takes two electrical sockets, one for heating element, one for pump.
*You must manually turn pump on and off. Not really a hassle as it tells you when to turn it on, and you know to turn it off when the bag is full.
*Not made for large number of heads. Id say 4 is the most you would want on it, although its not a problem if you can keep the bags filling and going around at the same rate... i.e. once last hit is taken, the other bag is full and ready to go.
*Crucible gets really hot immediately after sess, must be careful handling it.

All in all, I give it
