HardTimez and I were just discussing this. Can you vaporize kief? I know its not 100% THC, therefore what kind of matter would be left? What about hash made from kief?

I usually use my lightbulb piece for kief. Either that or spike a blunt. As for the residual matter, I'm not sure as lightbulb vapes aren't very technical and I usually end up just burning it up. Just normal ash is left behind.

I have vaporized my kief before, in my Vapor Warez. It is great for me, but not so great for the whip. Even with a small layer of herb on the screen, some kief tends to come through. I usually just put my kief in my new tiny glass spoon now.

put some kief on top of a bud and vaporize it using the sun!! A good magnifier will allow you to control the temperature very accurately. Slowly bring the mag closer to the bowl until the kief starts to melt (don't burn it yet!). It will vaporize at just the right temperature, you will know when it happens!!

I have a Volcano and vaporize kif all the time. While you can vape it by itself I usually sprinkle some atop the bud.
It's definitely stratospheric...
