Well I've been wanting a Vape for months now, and only started smoking last summer (I'm 26 now, I know I started late).
So I whip out my very potent and stinky stash of Orange Krush I grabbed this week from a good friend and loaded up a disc and well I got a nice subtle high but I wasn't comatose like I usually am after 4-6 bowl or bong hits which have been getting me to Frankenstein like proportions since I first grabbed the stash on Monday.

Vaporizergiant.com where I got my vape from ( because they ship from NJ as compared to what seems like most US sites ship from Cali and I didn't want to wait for it to go cross country for the same price that everyone else has it for sale). ANYHOO, their cust serve guy who I assume is prob the owner as well said to vape my bud at 225-250F. the first two bags I did I got hardly anything, the next two a lil while later I did @ 335F and got a cool high, hell my head and arms felt heavy as fuck. However It didn't seem to last that long, and here I am hearing of people and their incredible highs off vaporizers cheap and expensive, and after my first 2 runs with my new box, Im kinda feeling like it was a dumb purchase.

What am I doing wrong? am I expecting to much? Does anyone have a reliable number to call in NY since my main guy up and joined the fucking army! haha, yes Im serious he did.

Thanks for any advice in advance anyone can drop me on Vapes in general or in particular my vapormatic or its clone the mystifire.

I'm shocked that a vape seller would tell you to set temp at 225-250F. You don't start getting THC until about 285F. A good temp to get all your THC without toxins is 365F. Although from reading your other thread it seems like you really miss the stuff you get from burning weed. The vaporization of carbon monoxide, benzene, and other 'ene's provide a great deal of the couchlock effect you're missing with vaping. The effects are more pronounced than the differences between strains. So take it up to 400F if you want, or like I posted in your other thread, vape for THC and the energetic high and mix in smoking to suit your desired effect at the time. Thanks for the speedy reply bro, I knew something had to be up and even @ 335ish I wasn't any better off than with the pipes. I'll have to give it another go this weekend, thanks for the insight about how it's the smoking that gives you the couchy highs etc, I figured when vaping everything would be so much more intense including my enjoyed frankenstein effects from smoking to much in one shot.

the best temp for any vaporizer is 180F you will get the best high and the best smoke.

That's 180C, not F. THC is just beginning to vaporize at about 285F, and is nice and clean up to 365F. As far as the prime temp for the best high, that depends on what kind of high you're looking for. And the best smoke when you're vaping is no smoke.

Yeah I figured he ment 180F, I want the hardest biggest highs, is that to much to ask for?
I'll try the unit again tonight and see how it goes with the new knowledge from this thread, thanks guys.

Last night I didn't feel like experimenting, so I lit the packed bowl until I passed out.

It's a tad loud, I mean it's probably about as loud as a gaming pc I'd say.
Don't worry who ever lives in your house won't think you are using a giant vibrator if they walk past your room, it isn't THAT loud.
