| Whazzup peeps? I'm a vape newbie. After some research, got the Vapir one version 4. Here are some random statements, I am by no means any sort of expert. 1) Price was $149.99 from a vendor called Got Vape? on eBay. Besides the vaporizer, included five vapor bags, Jaguar sample herb disc, two 9V digital grinders, the magnetic smoke filter, AWS blade scale (400g max), an assortment of Got Vape? stickers and a t-shirt. 2) I chose the Vapir One because of price and versatility. It can be used with a whip or fill the bags. The Volcano is way out of range price wise at the moment. Also, I live in the SF Bay Area and Vapir has an office here. 3) My research indicated to vape at 180 to 200 degrees C. I tried 181 C first and it was awesome. Lots of vapor, smooth potent hits. Tried as high as 190 C, but anyhting above 182 C made me cough. 4) Pros-- small, versatile, effective vape, good price. Cons-- Noisy due to the fan that is employed to blow hot air through the herb basket. 5) Some tips: Grinding the herbs made a big difference. Easy to know when to reload as vapor and flavor stops coming and the color of the herbs changed to brown from them being baked. 6) The result is like from a water pipe hit-- intense but not not super long lasting. I also seriously considered the Vapor Brothers product. Since I am a techie by profession, I decided on the very tech Vapir One. The Vapir One is not the best 'party' vape as the power cord does not make it very portable. I did howver briefly have access to the battery powered Air2 Vapir unit, but I never tried it, only saw that video, 'The Vapir,' an instructional video that spoofs 'The Matrix.' I followed the included instruction booklet to the letter. Yes, soaking the whip tube in hot water really does work. |

| Good to hear the Vapir worked for ya. Some people say Vapir products suck, Im no expert. I just bought the vapormatic by Vapir and the first two uses I've been having trial and error issues but I hear it's normal. I had time last night to try and fix it but insted I decided to get baked til I passed out twice. haha. |

| i had a voodoo for about a year and a half, pretty similar overall to the vapir products. i preferred it to the vape i was replacing, which was the vapor bros. nothing wrong with it...the voodoo just impressed me more overall. the cons to it was the fan, and the startup and cooldown times. youll have to dissassemble it once or twice a year(i used it quite often, every day) for cleaning. also, i wasnt very happy with the small bags they provided, but i found that the hose was the perfect size to fit snugly in the female end of my bong. when im not hitting, just cap it off and youre golden. i was not in the least considering buying a silver surfer vaporizer, but i tried it once, and was hooked. unplugged the voodoo and never looked back. if you are somewhat considering the vapor bros, i would point to towards a ssv, as they are the same type of vape, but one is, above and beyond better than the other.

| Heres my vaporizer history. I purchased the "Digi-Vapor", after reading a startling negative review on gotvape.com and confronted the store that sold me the vape, and they gave me a free "Vapor Daddy". Well, I dunno about other people's Digivape or Vapordaddys, but for me, both of these absolutely sucked 100%. I payed over $150 for these things, and feel it was a rediculous waste of time and money for something that probably costs $5 to make. SO! I recently purchased a Vapir Air One 4.0. IT IS AMAZING, other than the noisyness I have not one complaint about this vaporizer, im 100% satisfied and this thing puts my other 2 junk boxes to shame. I highly recommend it. |

| Glad you found a vape you like, but since I doubt that you got two box vapes that didn't work (and you're not claiming that), I suspect that a major part of the problem was your technique. Had you ever used a whip vape before? There is a learning curve. A vape is not a bong. The biggest mistake people make is using too much lung power. Hit it too hard and your excessive air flow lowers the temp to the point where you're not getting vapor. Even if you're using proper technique (drawing air slow and easy), you're not going to get the volume of vapor you do with smoke, and you're not going to feel it in your lungs like smoke. A forced air vape like the Vapir uses a constant stream of air, so you're always going to get good results, at least as long as the fan keeps working, which can be a challenge for the Vapir One/Voodoo. The fan doesn't have a great track record for holding up over time, and owners often end up dissatisfied with the 90 day warranty. I hope yours holds up for you. Gotvape's 'over the top' slam of the Digi-vapor was because they got two units in a row that didn't work. Doesn't say much for Digi-vapor's quality control, but they were out of line when they pretty much said that none of them work. Plenty of people have gotten good service from a Digi-vapor. But this is the chance you take when you buy a cheap 'made in China' vape that's sold with no manufacturer's warranty. If the vendor won't stand behind it and at least replace a DOA unit, you're out of luck. As for Vapordaddy, it's also one of the cheaper box units, but it's been around awhile and many have been satisfied with it. I've used one myself and it works as well as any box type vape. This is a simple design, and as long as the builder uses decent parts, any box vape will do the job. That's not to say there aren't quality differences between a cheap unit like Digi-vapor and the top of the line boxes like Vapor Bros. or Vaporwarez. The Vaporwarez especially, is a safe buy with its 5 year warranty.

| I have a Voodoo unit, which is basically the same thing, just a different name. My Voodoo sits unused because I prefer my Vapor Warez. IMO, the Vaper Warez is easier and less time consuming to use.

| thanks for the reply, well my digi-vape emitted a strange smell, which may not have been benzene or wtv gotvape claimed, but it wasnt a good smell!! as for the vapordaddy, technique may have been an issue, i was able to get vapor from both, but nothing like the vapor i get from my airone. also it was hit or miss, sometimes it would work and sometimes i'd get nothing. and i wasnt changing my technique at all! it just seemed a little too finicky. but hey thats just me! i know the Vapir doesnt have the best track record, but im 100% satisfied so far, and I just hope it lasts! My buddy has had his for over a year now.. |

| I loved my Vapir but it broke on me. Now I have a Super VApezilla clone and I can see how it's higher quality. The vapir is very good though as long as it doesn't break. It can get a lot of people stoned fast. For your own uset hough a Vapezilla is amazing. |

I have a Stealth VDS II, yes it's a clone and yes tat's what I'm basing it on. @ the end of the day all the clones are the same I got the stealth because of the warranty. I have never used an actual vapezilla but would bet money it's the exact same. Previous to this I have used Ubies(LMAO), VApir 4.0, Vapir 3.0 (same thing with smaller bags) and the OG vapir which was so freakin slow. There is something extremely luxurious about using a whip vaporizer but the real reason i chose it over the vapir is because it's glass to glass to glass...so I feel confident that I'm not smoking any garbage. The true difference is that you can taste hwo much more flavorful the air is (something I don't care that much about cuz I'm just trying to get high). But it is a much SILKIER SMOOTH pull than breathing that stale air out of the vapir. To be honest I would like to try a volcano vs a Vapir because I think they would be identical. Anway, I'm really amped about posting about my new vaporizer because I have been looking up information on the Super Vapezilla for over a year now trying to decide wehter or not to get it. Eventually my Vapir BROKE and so I pulled the trigger anyway. Now I'm here trying to help everyone out. This vaporizer is the shit. | |
