Hmmm... I have not experienced that 'flowing thing' with my mini.. and I have had it pretty hot ..never experienced it.. I am not sure of the warranty on this .. check with the folks at Air-2.com: Makers of the Vapir™ Digital Herbal Vaporizer and see what they say...
and as far as the second problem goes.. no ... haven't had that problem either .. you might have a bum machine.. see if you can swap it out for a new one...

as far as getting rid of the plastic smell .. it was only a couple of days.. but I was pretty aggressive with the heating and cooling thing ... I would heat it to 390 and unplug it but I would do that a couple of times a day.. and it went away pretty quickly.. (no I didn't vape anything when it was in the 'break in phase"

I believe there is an auto cut off thing.. IOW if it is on too long it'll just click off at some point .. I haven't ever had it stay on for a long time.. so can't really say. it is on frequently but not for extended times.

to reiterate... it is not really a multi user kind of thing. one or two... that's it...

So I got my oxygen-mini 2 weeks ago. It was love at first high. Man I hadn't been that high in a long time! I was totally sold on vaporizers after that. Finally able to stop hurting my lungs after all that time! Imagine how was pissed off when it died yesterday. It still turns on and mocks me with the blue temperature display but the heat wont turn on . I don't think I overused it or nothing. Its all cool and I'll get a new one , it is on warranty but man , what am I supposed to do while it gets fixed? Smoking jays is not as fun anymore I miss my vap so much... Fortunatly I ordered a buddha last week but who knows when that will get here. So to resume, Vapir Oxygen mini = good , but there are durability issues it would seem. Make sure you got a backup or be prepared to wait anxiously until it gets repaired

How long did it take you to get the taste out of the mini? I just got mine in yesterday but haven't tried it out because I'm 'heat cleaning' it.

I ran mine through a couple heat cleaning cycle with a herbal mix the vap dealer had included and started using it normally. The "taste" never was that bad and it went away after a day or two. (maybe 2 hours of total machine use time?) I still don't have any other real vaporizer to compare it too , but it never seemed toxic tasting to me lol. Can't be worse then years of smoking it other ways anyways .

Just tried my Mini out and it is amazing. I used about two pinches of herbs and got about 7 good hits off of it. The nasty isn't strong at all but that could be because of the 'warm-up' treatment I gave it. I took about two days warming it up to max temp and cleaning it out. It is a must buy. (If this post doesn't make any sense I'm sorry....the Mini is that good)

I had been thinking about getting this one and after reading all this which has been very helpful I have decided to get one. No one has mentioned the use of herb grinders or pollinators. I read that somewhere you need to grind it up very finely to get the most out of it in the vape.

That varies somewhat with different models, but yeah, probably right with this one. You do want to make sure you're getting all your herb exposed to the hot air stream.

Agreed, I use mine as my backup piece. Vapir does not have the best track record prior to the mini, but I'd say it's the best price point for a portable.

About the oxygen, how fine must the herbs be grinded?
Can I totaly fill the chamber with my herbs, or must be less (1/2, 3/4, ?/?)

They ( the producers) should publish the way to change the chamber mesh screen. Mine is new and I don´t tried yet, but it seems difficult to change, at first look.
