Hi everyone, I'm new to this board so I'm gonna start by saying HI.

I just got my vapir one v4.0. It definantly gets the job done! I was so screwed up (along with busted up herb I loaded alot of the crytsal from the lid of my bud buster..this is probably part of the reason I got so messed up). I didn't know what to do with myself and I had to pace around...it took 1 1/2 hours to come down to a very high state that was comfortable...(note to new users of a vaporizer...start with a small amount and vap. more as needed...it might knock you on your ass). It does leaks a bit but this is correctable with tape if it bugs you...The amount of vapor that leaks out isn't really enough fo me to care about.

My only concern is the plastic taste....this could be from it being new..I really hope that the plastic taste goes away! Has anyone else noticed the plastic taste? And DID it go away???

Also, when you open the drawer to load the herb inside you can see red glue looking stuff...what is that? And is it safe???

Welcome to the Lounge and to vaping. I've never used the Vapir One, but it's a very popular unit and I don't remember anyone complaining about the taste. What is your temp setting? It should be closer to 350F than 400.

i have a vapezilla, so that's diff, but the tubing had a plastic taste to me at first that i really didn't like. however, i eventually got used to it or even more likely it wore off with use. you may find this to be the case as well.
