I just recently travelled to NoCal to my native Santa Cruz. My cuz introduced me to Vaping and I'm completely stoked. I am in Houston and having major issues finding any locally. Only have found 2 shops and no selection really. The VapTower was the only name brand I recognized.

I would greatly appreciate any recommendations you all may have. We'd prefer to get something for $225 or less. I have seen favorable reviews of the Silver Surfer so thinking of ordering but thought I'd give the board a shout before I dropped a load of cash.

I'd recommend the VaporWarez. You can get one online for $139 delivered with two pricey accessories for free.

The Surfer is nice, especially if you like the glass look. Easy screen changing and convenient whip to heater angle are strong points for the SSV. It's hard to beat the Vaporwarez for the money. It doesn't have those strong points, but a different whip and an angle adjustment make a big difference in ease of use. Another nice vape with a different look is the V-Tower. Glass vapor path with a stainless steel shell and it has stealth with its aroma bowl. Just put the whip away and it's an aromatherapy diffuser. I may have to try one of these myself. For portability I like the Vapolution. It's harder to load, but has the glass, 12v operation, and great taste. All are good choices (and there are others). It all depends on your priorities.
