I know it's a bag vs whip, but I can't decide which one I will like better.

Currently I have a Digi-Vapor VP-400, it works well and gets me real high but I'm scared I might be inhaling some china man toxins.

So which one is the better overall Vape??

The Vaperfection looks to be real nice whip style vape..Glass heating element, supposed accurate temp. control and safe design..

The Volcano is also accurate but doesn't have an all glass design.

I have heard mixed reviews about other vapes, (aromed, herbalire)

There is no legitimate answer to your question. Both are top of the line vapes and will do an excellent job of extracting THC. If you don't know whether you want your vapor from a bag or a whip, then it's too soon to be choosing between two such pricey vapes (unless money is not an issue for you). I use both methods regularly and wouldn't want to be restricted to one or the other. Bagged vapor is easy, consistent, and convenient. A whip vape is more of a challenge to learn, a little more work, but provides better taste, and (I think) a bit more satisfying vaping experience.

It's like deciding between two excellent cars. Both ride and handle very well, but one has a better ride and the other has better handling. Which feature is more important to you?

Thanks, I get good results using my current whip style vape, but who knows I might like the bag vapes better..

Have you used a Volcano and Herbalire? How do you think it compares to the Volcano in term of potency, efficiency, and safety?

Personally, I don't like the idea of forced air on a whip vape, which is what you get with the Vaporfection. It does help to provide a steadier temp, but your own lung power gives you more control over the vaping process.

Asking is a top of the line bag system vs. a top of the line whip system is similar to going...

"Do you want a BMW or a Mercedes?"

Both are excellent choices, both have strong and weak points that differ--and both offer an awesome user experience.

What do you WANT from your vape? Do you want max. flavor? Ease of use? Consistency? Ability to share it with several people?

Figure out your needs in very, very definite terms and *then* ask us users of various products for our opinions--we'll be more than happy to help ya dude!

the above posts are correct, but i would like to add a few things

I have owned a vapolution (all glass whip) and volcano both

I preferred the volcano.

first of all, you do not need to worry about toxins with an aluminum heating block. check the vaporization temperature of aluminum. its in the thousands, and these heating blocks never get over a few hundred.

second, I found the ease of use for the volcano to be second to none. its so convenient to grind the herb, toss it in, fill a bag, and walk around, pass the bag, or whatever. every hit is the same.

there is still a learning curve, but it is much less steep. with a volcano you will get an idea for when a bowl is done, whether you should turn the heat up to get some more out, grinding it a second time, etc...

for example, if I had really dense and high quality bud, I would grind it up and fill one bag. that first bag fill would dry the bud out, so I would dump it out and grind it again into a fine powder. the finer the grind, the more surface area available, and the more efficient the process will be. The first grind for good bud will only just chop it up basically, its just too sticky and clumps really easily.

finely ground herb in a volcano produces a bag of milky thick vapor. very impressive

also, the bowl for a volcano is quite large. Now, depending on the whip unit you are comparing it to, this may make no difference. for the vapolution, the bowls are a bit on the small side. they work well for sensimillia smoking alone or with 1 or 2 other people. but not so great for a bunch of mexico's finest.

Especially when you're getting 4 or 5 other people high. This I have done many many times with the volcano using schwag and dank. Always high quality schwag though, generally just a few seeds in a half O and plenty of "frostiness". but regardless, the large bowls allow for a variety of uses. you can also mix in some fresh mint, lemongrass, or other herbs to add some tastiness. i always liked mint

so ya, you can tell i like the volcano. its great alone or with lots of people, schwag mids dank whatever
