I have just purchased the BC Vape, and have already smoked a little Salvia (remind me NEVER to do THAT again) and some herbal weed in it. Should I cut a screen to fit the bowl, and pack it tight? Or should I just break off some weed and stick it in there. Maybe it's just me, but I smoke d the salvia the first time from a pipe, and it got me to a higher plain than form the second time through the vape.

Any hints? HELP!

Unfortunetly, you purchased the one Vape that forever ruined the idea of vaping weed for many a stoner. I don't personally have any expeirence with one, but from what I'm told, they are basically worthless and very unuser friendly. For a fairly inexpensive first time vape, I can't say enough good thingas about vaporewarez vapor cannon. I have the hands-free 3g model, and have grown so attached to it I very rarely smoke anymore, only vape

The good ole BC vaporizer. I'll refrain from saying what I think 'BC' stands for, but since I also made the mistake of buying it for my first vape, I reserve the right to slam it to a certain extent. Basically, it's the original vaporizer (at least the one that had the first big commercial success). Unfortunately, it uses an inferior heating method (conduction). It cooks your weed like frying an egg in a pan on the stove. Like cooking the egg, the side of the weed not in contact with the metal surface doesn't get cooked (unless you leave it long enough to burn the other side). You won't get thick vapor hits off it, but it will work. It's a pale imitation of a good convection vape though. You need to use ground weed and keep it stirred up so it gets heat to the whole surface. You could use a screen, but it's not necessary. I found the carb hole to be useless and taped it up. I ended up twisting off the glass dome far enough to let air in when I wanted to clear it of vapor. Don't use your results from the BC to judge vaporizing. It was enough to get me hooked on vaping, but my lungs had had it with smoke, so I was motivated. I used the thing for a couple of weeds while I was looking for a good convection model. As soon as I got one, I retired the BC and was lucky enough to sell it for $25 (and felt guilty about it). If you really want to experience true vaporizing, you'll move up to a convection model as well.

I have the exact same model as troublemaker_42. It was an AMAZING deal, on eBay for $139 (delivered!) from an online vending company that deals exclusively on eBay. That price is $20 less that I saw on VaporWarez' website, and it comes with all kinds of extras (4-piece grinder, a nice scale, incense & burner). I was looking into buying a vape for about a month, and this was the decision I came to. Not once have I regretted it.

no problem....Yeah, go to ebay and look for vapor warez....you should come across the deal the above poster mentioned....I also got that deal, and honestly can't imagine life without my grinder, scale OR vape!!!!
