Question vaportower reviews?

Hey guys, I'm having a hare time finding some reviews of the vaportower vaporizer from vaporstore

Does any one own this vaporizer? I'm trying to figure out if it's better than the vaporwarez in terms of performance, other than the whip of course, like how well the heating element works and if you can take fat hits or not.

That's my review, but it's for the v-tower:

which is different from the vapor-tower:

Although there is some similarity in design, i.e. whips with vertical pointing heating element

In this thread the poster, comet, says he likes the tower. He's got quite a vape collection too. So read up for his opinion. Doesn't mean his favorites will suit everyone else's taste though. His favorite, the Vaporsnake, has some really nice features, and he likes it for the hits he gets, but for me, the hits are what I like least about it. Too much air mixed with the vapor for my taste-dries my throat out too quickly.

I don't think you'll have problems with any of the brand name box units as far as the heater or hits. You'd have to test these boxes side by side to notice any difference IMO. Vaporstore has the lifetime heater warranty vs. 5 yrs. for the warez, but Vaporstore has to be in business to honor that warranty, and I don't think it's a big deal anyway. Good ceramic heaters are reliable and long lived. If they weren't, you wouldn't see lifetime warranties (and Vaporstore's not the only one with that guarantee). The tower may be a little more efficient-heat wise-, since hot air rises, but again, no big deal.

The vertical whip on the tower would be an issue for me though, since it would stick up maybe 4-6 inches above the top of the unit before you'd get a bend in the tubing. I'd rather have an angle that's more in line with my arm resting on my easy chair. For that reason, I think I'd prefer the Vaporwarez or Vaporbox with the Vaportower handkit (otherwise, I'd put up with the vertical tower, since I really like the 2 screen setup). You do need the hands free box though, if you want to use the tower handkit.

Here's a video with both the supplied hands free whip and the tower whip used with the Vaporbox.

My bad, I didn't realize it was a different one. It's been awhile since I saw the video, and I just thought you were abbreviating in the post title. Didn't mean to give false info.

The Vapor Tower and V-Tower are very similar in design as well as name. I find that the L shaped glass connector on the V-Tower makes it more convenient to use from my easy chair. And the supplied potpourri bowl turns it into a nice aroma therapy diffuser for stealth. Not to mention the fact that you can see what's going on in the bowl and use your breath to keep the herb stirred up. It's a really nice vape for the money.
