|  Assuming that over an 8 month period you've used it fairly regularly then you are well versed in it's 'behavior'. Like 5Drive said, the bag is not the problem. If all the screens are clean (especially the one on the filling chamber insert post) then it is quite likely the fall damaged the inner workings in some way. Sounds like a repair issue to me at that point...
