I want to get a volcano but...im a college kid and money is an issue. What is the next best thing?

I would recommend the Vapor Warez as a good starter unit. It's a good value for the money, and comes with a 5 year warranty.

Im not going to buy it online. Because if it got shipped to my house. I know my rents would flip. I think im just gonna go to some smoke shop and find a vapor warez at a decent price. Which may take a while. Ill save while im looking and maybe if it takes that long ill get the volcano.

Is it really the best vaporizer?

If I were you (worried about getting a vape shipped to the house) I'd opt for the cheaper vape unless there's zero chance of your parents confiscating it. It's not like a Volcano is going to get you higher than a Vaporwarez. A whip vape is not as temp consistent as a good bag unit, but it'll sure as hell do the job and be a lot easier to hide or disguise. You can get an aroma bowl for the Vaporwarez and tell Mom and/or Dad that you're into aromatherapy.

That all depends on your definitions and POV I guess. For MY money, the vaporwarez was the logical choice. It does everything I'd want a vaporizer to do, at a price significantly less than most of the competition I know you're big or reppin the ssv, but it really doesn't do anything my vaporwarez isn't capable of, and costs over 25% more. To each their own, but what may be the "best vaporizer" for some people won't be the best for others

have you ever used a ssv?
if you have, and you can honestly tell me that in terms of vaporizing performance, from turning it on till the end of a bowl, that it is equal to the vapor warez then i will never again say another word about the ssv here. im big on repping it because ive used and owned multiple vaporizers, and it blows them out of the water. no contest. seriously, no contest.

i dont blame you for spouting your cheaper product. it does indeed work. just not as well as it could, had it been optimally engineered. and yes, it is cheaper. but it also leaves you lacking in that small way. and i bet it is also mass produced, using less than top quality materials. with the ssv, you are guaranteed a hand built piece using the healthiest matierals available. and it is not just a cookie cutter vape using similar technology as 4 other vapes on the market, every peice was developed(and is patented) by the owner of the company, who before he started making vapes was an electrician.

ive explained in more than one thread on these boards exactly why the ssv is better than its straight heater cover competition, please tell me where you think im wrong.

If you're not going to buy it online, expect to pay more. Most headshops will charge a LOT more than the online dealers. When I bought my VaporWarez (sorry if I'm fueling the little war going on in this thread about these) I bought it from an online dealer on eBay. I paid $139 for the hands-free model, which came with a slew of extras including a SpaceCase imitation grinder, a scale, an incense burner and a few boxes of incense. And free shipping! Somehow, this price was even less than what I would have paid had I bought from VaporWarez directly. In the headshop around here, I saw the same vaporizer being sold for nearly $200.

But I'm a little confused....you said you're a college student, but you're living at home? If I were you, I'd just wait until I was out of the house to order one, or if you know your parents will be gone for a week or so, order it just before they leave. Not that I would ever encourage anyone to go against their parent's wishes.....
