trouble in 421

So i broke my last "water tobacco pipe" and decided its time to upgrade to a "herbal vaporization device" for inhaling stress-relieving herbs such as chamamile....anyways, i got the volcano and i wanted to know if anyone has any tips on the best temperature to use, how much ganja to pack, how many bags to fill per bowl. Also, if anyone knows if it is better to raise the temperature after each bag or if maintaining the same temp. is better, I would appreciate that knowledge as well...

the other thing i wanted to say is that the volcano is the best shit ever, totally worth the money if you can afford it cuz it takes half the weed to get you high as fuck....if you have had a "not get high from vape experience" then you never taken a full bag of romulus or whatever this shit is.....i had the "ultimate vapor machine" a whip device, and it broke and it sucked before it broke....volcano is the shit

I agree that the Volcano is a great device.
That said, there are a number of other devices in the market place that are just as good however. Discussion and evaluation of them abound throughout quite a few Threads here. You might want to search them out as there is a tremendous amount of information available.

Insofar as the Volcano. I suggest you use a grinder if possible, and load just enough weed to cover the screen in the 'filling chamber'. Less is more if you know what I mean.
Start with the temperature at 5.5 and blow a bag . For each bag thereafter I would stir the weed and increase the temperature just slightly, say in increments of .5.
Depending on the quality of your pot I suspect you'll get at least 3 bags (assuming the stock size bag) before wanting to either add to the existing or reload new material.

Note that of critical importance is keeping the screen that is attached to the bottom of the 'filling chamber insert' clean. I soak mine in alcohol after every 1 or 2 sessions. It only takes a few minutes and makes an enormous difference in efficiency.

Bottom line is to just experiment. All will become clear...

The more you load (in pretty much any vape) the more you'll have to stir and keep hitting 'already vaped weed'. Bag vapes like Volcano and herbalAire are very efficient and all your weed will get vaped without stirring, but you're still passing hot air through fully cooked weed and it'll affect taste if nothing else. I wouldn't worry about how many bags you get. If you load a lot in one bowl in order to get one or two extra bags before refilling the bowl, you'll still get less and less vapor in each bag. Your first bag will always have the most vapor. I'd experiment until that first bag has the right amount of vapor to suit you.

The Volcano, with its constant airflow and steady temp control, is great for vaping at your desired temp. Higher temp will get the most out of your herb, but there's a trade off. You'll also get toxins. The hotter you go the more you get. Here's the best info I know of on vaping temps and toxins:
