I got the vape on Tuesday, and vaped some mids. I had the dial at around 12-1oclock.. Everything seemed to work fine.

Wednesday and tonight though, it's different. I tried it with mids and nugs.I can't get a vapor unless I turn the dial to 3. Even if I turn it the whole way up and take a slow draw, it barely makes the weed dark brown/almost black. Most of it is still between green and brown.

From everything I read here, most people seem to use a 11-1 setting on the knob. When the knob is a 12, the heater dimly glows red. At 1 it seems to glow slightly orange, but still doesn't produce vapor.

This is my first vape, so I'm not 100% sure I'm using it right, but I read the instructions many times and watched a couple videos, and it seems like I'm doing it right.

I use a variety of setting on my vaporwarez, depending on the weed used, and how badly I want to get every last bit. I typically use between 11 and 1, but sometimes go to nearly 3 when trying to extract every last bit of vapor. If you turn it all the way up and still don't get vapor, I'd have to assume you have a defective vape...or is it possible you are overfilling it? Just enough weed to fully cover the screen is all you really need. If you overfill it, it won't always vape properly

I also own a Vapor Warez. If the heating element is getting hot, you should be getting vapor. Try drawing slow and steady. I keep mine set at around the 12PM setting all the time, and that is a good setting for me.

Maybe I am over filling it. It seems like they put a lot in it on the videos I watched, and I put in way less. What weight are you guys putting in?

I would also think that it should burn if I have it cranked up the whole way.

It is very possible that you are putting too much herb in the whip. I have found that using a small amount works best. I also do NOT pack it down onto the screen. Having the herb loose helps me get more vapor. I also prop the back end of the vaporizer up on a couple books, but I have it so that the heating element is level now. I never have to worry about the herb falling down and touching the element.

I never weigh out an amount, I just put a couple pinches in the whip, stir it a little with the pick and make sure it's even over the screen, and I'm good to go.

It will burn if you crank it full blast.

Actually, I think I know what's wrong. The weed keeps falling off of the screen, even with the back of the vape propped up. I don't understand how it's supposed to stay in place.

I don't know why I didn't think to check this in the first place. It's like I was high or something. So, any tips on keeping it on the screen?

Mine is propped up, the heating element level, but a tiny bit does come off the screen, but not much. Just keeping it level is all I can suggest.

You're not inhaling too hard are you? Usually I inhale about as slow as I can to get a lot of vapor. The faster you draw the lower the temperature.
