Default Vapormatic Deluxe (It's almost a year)

I've never really found much feedback or input on this device. Since purchasing it for about $300 dollars back when it was new...

my opinion's thus far:

For some odd reason there is leakage, it's not completely sealed.

I've cleaned the tray, and i try to clean the metal grill as well (done that about twice)

Burning weed? Mine has been burning more and more disks of weed than when it was new. Maybe i'm packing them to dense or turning the temp too high?

Bags VS Hose. I find that the hose is best for 1-3 people, that can get around some type of setup within the hoses range. Anything more than 3 ppl, and i think the bag system is the best.

Vape or Burn?

This is what keeps my vape out of action. i live with heavy pot smokers, and for some reason they just don't like it. yes it's healthier, and imo the vape gets you higher...but i guess they like the feeling of their lungs burning? i don't know...don't get me wrong...taking a bomb rip is faster...but vaping gets you higher....hmmm...

but yeah my damn roomates are always wanting to smoke blunts and pass bong tokes. imo, waste of a lot of good weed.

Another thing...the fan makes a lil noise on the lowest setting.

I think vapor leaks are a trademark of Vapir vaporizers. I wouldn't worry about it unless it's bad. You can always try taping the area that leaks. Lots of people have done that on the Vapir One. I'd try dialing the temp back a little to avoid burning. You want your leftovers a crispy brown, but not black. I wouldn't worry about noise from your fan either. I've yet to hear of a silent fan on a vape. As for your buddies wanting to smoke instead of vape, it's their loss. It does take more effort to vape, so there has to be some motivation-different high, less odor, healthier, etc.

I also experience these problems with my Voodoo. (pretty much the same unit) I did use electrical tape on the drawer to prevent any vapor leakage, and that works well.

Mine also tends to burn the herb if I set it too high. I always use 1/3 a disk of herb, orless, and I never pack it down. I have always just used balloons/bags as it is just me using it.

I bought the V-Tower: High Performance Stealth Vaporizer - Arizer about 30 days ago and want to really know it before I post my review on it. New people to vaping just are puzzeled by vaporizing and there are a few reasons why. If you have a seasoned vapor toker with you it's rocks but teaching vaping on the fly to nuby's while it sounds feasible it seems to always turn into a out of rhythm session as they don't really get whats going on and can't deal with the slower style of vaporizers. I'll comment on this in a month or two when I do my review on the V-Tower and my thoughts on it vs my VaporStar.

I don't smoke marijuana but do enjoy discussing and talking about legal herbs and the high from different legal smoking methods and all my post should be viewed in that light.
