Thanks 5Drive! I do appreciate your help. I've got it down to two. SSv or Buddah ![]() I will pass on Extreme.

You should pass on it IMO if you want to go with the whip method. That's always the first thing to decide-whip or bag. I will say that if someone took away my vapes tomorrow, and I could only buy one to replace them, I'd probably get the Extreme because I'm hooked on both delivery methods. I could get by with whip only, but my wife insists on bag use. Of course a few vapes offer both methods, but even the Extreme, which, I'm convinced, gives the best results of the few available dual use units via whip use, won't provide the rich vapor of the SSV. If you look at the diameter of the heater cover openings on the DB and the SSV, the SSV has a narrower opening, which gives you a higher vapor to air ratio than the DB. tokinGLX has confirmed the richer hits in his testing. The DB though, with the wider opening, may require less stirring since the hot air is contacting a wider area of the bowl contents. The other big difference between the two (unless you opt for the optional hands free setup on the SSV) is that the gg connection of the DB may get loose after much use and no longer provide a tight, secure connection. This is more of a concern with the SSV, since the angle for the connection is upward and not horizontal. Even with the DB, a worn connection should be a very minor issue because of the stable horizontal angle. And with the downward angle of box vapes like the VB and Vaporwarez, a worn gg connection isn't really an issue at all.

for me I will replace what needs replaced when that time comes or check out another model. its that important to me, the hands free aspect fits into my style too much.

The DB gg connection may last longer than you'll even own the vape. It may even outlive you . At worst you'd just have to be careful not to knock the whip out. It certainly wouldn't keep me from buying it if that was the vape I wanted. | |

I take most of that 'other guys' stuff with a grain of salt. It's no different from what I hear from hardware and software vendors every day. What I like about the guy is that when I need replacement parts, he's there for me within 24 hours, usually with a free gift thrown in. I am curious about the SSV thick hits thing though. I'll look into that.

Does the Extreme "hit" like the V tower when not using the fan? I was going to get a ssv or Da Budha but for a couple more bucks could get the Extreme and get the flexibility of the bags too. I am worried that it will not hit as well as a non fan vape when the fan is not on. ALso, do you remove rthe bowel between hits with fan and without? The box and ssv does have you remove the bowl.

Does the Extreme hit as well without the fan on as say a ssv? I am concerned that most of my usage would be without the fan but for a couple of extra bucks, I could have the fan and ballon option.

Thanks 5drive, I never hit a vape until a week &1/2 ago. Have not smoked since. Can't go back. I need to make a decision. The only experience I have had has been the vapir 5.0. The vape is not real rich and after seeing video of a ssv hit I thought I would want to go conventional most of the time (no fan). For the flavor. If the extreme does both well. I will probably go in that direction as the balloons are a nice side option. tokinGLX makes a hell of an argument for ssv and DaBudha though. The vapir looks a lot richer than what I have had with the 5.0 Decisions, decisions.

Hmm, so this brings up a question...can you modify one of the v-tower/extreme parts to narrow the airway, thus improving the richness of the hits? I'm not getting mine for another couple weeks so I can't inspect it myself, but it seems like there should be some way to restrict airflow a bit.
