You know what? Thats exactly what I've been thinking about. Its kinda like a carburator that blends air/fuel mixtures. Adjustable for richness or leaness. Seems like you could play around with the vent openings or the holes in the tubes to lessen the air. The company could even offer replacment tubes with different types of air ratios

Also, what about the length of the whip tube? Why is it 3 feet long? Have you ever tried to use a vacum cleaner hose as a snorkle in the pool? Its real hard vs. the short snorkle tube. Do you get where I'm coming from? It seems like the less tubing you have could make it more controllable and possibly a richer hit.

Hmm, well I think the length helps with passing the whip around or hitting it from the couch while it's on the table. It probably also helps cool the air down a bit too, since the air that comes right off the heating element is going to be quite hot.

I suppose you can cut your whip as you like, air isn't really hot even if you suck directly from the ballon whip that is really short!
I love to lay back on my bed and take a nice hit from the extreme in the centre of my little table!Ballons are lovely thick if you stir it a bit...Consistent vapor that you can make rings!
Check out my pics in the other thread!
Vapor with no fan is like you want!!thick and flavored but i never tried a ssv or budda to compare it!
I use fan only for the bag sistem.
I start vaping a full taste hit with whip then start to fill up 5 ballons at least!!!
Man believe me this machine deliver a lot out of your plant material then i don't need to know about trick and tips cause i'm cooked yet and vapor still go out!!!

Enjoy the best of your life!

No. Again, I'm assuming the Extreme, used as a manual whip vape, hits just the same as the V-Tower (and since it uses the same parts to route the air, it can't be much different). So No, it does not hit like the SSV. It gives you a lot more air for the same size hit, meaning a thinner vapor hit. This is where 'whip only' vapes, certainly the popular ones like your standard box units and the SSV, have a big edge over any dual mode vape-richer vapor hits. This is the big difference between the SSV and Da Buddha too. The larger opening on the DB heater cover means more air per hit vs. the SSV. It's not that you're less vapor per bowl, it just affects the vapor/air mixture. If you add 4 ounces of water to a bottle of beer and drink it, you still get the same amount of alcohol, but not the same taste.

The larger opening on the DB could also mean more of the bowl is heated too, couldn't it? I read about Tokins review and he stated in a blind hit- test you wouldn't know the difference between DB and SSv

Yeah, and I asked him about that in a PM, since I was very interested to know if the DB hit just the same as the SSV. Although he didn't do a follow up post on the difference, he did make it clear in his PM response that there's a little difference. And yes, the plus to having a wider opening on the DB is more even heating in the bowl.

tokin's PM response:

"the db heater cover does have a larger diameter, so air does pass easier through it than the ssv. because of this, taking a hit where i am sucking at the same constant speed through both vapes, the ssv would give the better hit. but with the db, this also means that it is even harder to accidentally burn the bowl.

so for its conveniences, i do prefer the ssv and will recommend it over the db to people where money isnt as much of a concern. there is not a noticeable difference in hits tho, so for people that are on a tighter budget and are looking for that first vape, db is a most excellent choice..."

My view is Da Buddha is a high quality product and I honestly dont know if I would get an SSV after Da Buddha. I would have to take the pepsi challenge so to speak before I could really say though. I know the hits I get from Da Buddha are straight up great and I used to live just outside Maastricht which is in the promise land hehe.

I believe that what ever product one selects if it matches your style you will be happy. I believe they are both high quality products that will not disappoint.

I also agree with Tolkin's sediments about the DB being a great vape and for someone who was new to vaping as I was and am, when I got Da Buddha it was a great and easy introduction to Vaping and Tolkin definitely game me the confidence in his videos to basically take on this experiment and I am so glad I did.
