| You'd disagree with what? That leaving the whip connected raises the temp and cooks the weed faster? In my experience with various vaporizers, it does. Doesn't the surface of an incandescent light bulb get hotter after a few minutes? It's ambient heat. Even with a bag vape like the herbalAire, your weed will slowly cook if you load it and don't turn on the air flow with the pump. |

| Yes, leaving the whip on raises the temp and pre-heats/cooks the herbs. If you have herb that doesn't vape well you leave it on if you want to help it along. I don't think it waist much at all I always leave it on since I'm going to be hitting often enough that theres no reason to remove it. One thing that can also be misunderstood is that I'm not sure drawing on the whip faster makes thinner vapors. In reality theres one perfect draw speed for each hit for the THICKEST vapors of that hit and it's not a slower draw that some would think. Fast hard draws have the effect of moving a lot of hot air over the herb and this has the same effect of leaving the whip/charge on the vaporizer, in that it can brings MORE HOT AIR over the herbs than a slow draw and the deeper into the root of the herbs that the herbs get heated makes for more thicker vapors. So it's really not one way or the other. A slow pull while not bringing in a lot of cold air is also not bringing into the herb the same volume of hot air, the question becomes how fast/consistently can the ceramic element heat up fresh air over a given draw. The answer maybe that it does a better job then you would think at keeping the temp high on fast pulls. Medium fast long pulls are usually the best to get the thickest hits, because like leaving the charge/whip connected it in the end applys more direct heat to the herbs. It'd be like if you where on a desert and the wind was blowing you'd get cooked a lot faster if the wind was blowing fast rather than slow if the temp was the same. With a vaporizer if it reheats the air fast(Good Quality Heat Element) then in the end you will apply more heat with a faster pull than with a slow pull, then there are factors as to how much of the goods stuff is left and strains and so on. I know you can get thick hits from a slow pull but I don't think is as easy as saying slower for thicker and faster for thinner. I've had some that fast was the only way to get any vapors at all and that when I couldn't get any I'd just hit it fast and long and I'd get some. Feel free to share any insights as I'm just recalling some of my own learning and it's with one unit but others here may have found otherwise with their units.

Note: have something ready with which to treat the burn. If you take an essentially closed space and put a heat source into it, it will heat up.

Think of an oven.....the food doesn't actually come into contact with the heating elements, but your food cooks? I wonder why that may be? Could it be that introducing a heat source into a closed area will cause the closed area to retain the heat, and cook your food? A vape is no different....your weed is sitting in an essentially closed chamber (the glass part of the whip). Of course its going to cook if left attached to the box indefinitely. Why WOULDN'T it? One the other hand, I like my hands-free version better than the other type. You have the option of leaving it attached and only using one hand to hold the whip (where did the "hands-free" terminology come from? It still, under normal use, takes one hand to control the whip) or by removing it between hits. I usually leave it attached for the first few hits, remove, stir, and place it back on...repeating the process until its cashed. I'm sure if my vape was a non hands-free model, I'd be extolling the virtues of that type. Long story short, I love my vaporwarez, and would definitely consider it the most econmoical, yet reliable "starter" vape. Theres cheaper ones out there, and definitely more expensive, but this vape lives up to my expectations, and does what its intended to do without any problems....fyi, I've had mine since June, and it gets used multiple times daily usually
