Ok i have one of those vaporizers that you use for colds, can i use it to "smoke" weed 2

I don't believe so.

They dont have a heating element, I think they just use water vapor or something like that, not the kind of vaporizer your thinking of.

The kind of vaporizer you're talking about either blows a cool mist of water, a warm mist of water, or steam.

An herb vaporizer heats air to a temperature high enough (way above that of boiling water) to vaporize the cannabinoids in weed. The only similarity is the name.

I think what you have is called a nebulizer. I have a nebulizer, and you can't use those to vaporize cannabis.

I spent a lot of time with vaporizers when I was a kid-fighting severe bronchitis. I guess it's appropriate that I'm spending a lot of time with them again many years later. This time it's a lot more fun.

Vaporizer is kind of a general term that can be applied to any device that produces vapor. There are even vaporizers for fuel systems on cars.
