Nope. It's less harsh and more moist, but it's not like breathing.

i cant even tell if i got a hit untill i exhale vapor.

It can be if the hits are light. It all depends on how strong the weed is, how big the load is, how many hits have been taken off the load, and how hot the vape is set.

If I'm vaping KB, put half an inch load into the whip, and have the temp on my VaporWarez set at 12'o'clock, I'll choke on the second, third, and sometimes the fourth hit. The second hit is always the strongest. You can reduce the density of hits by turning down the temperature.

I often set the temp low for the first few hits and then turn it up as the level of cannabinoids in the load gets depleted.

When the hits get to be just like breathing, I know that the load is close to being cached.

If I take a smaller hit, I usually blow the hit towards a something black so I can see if I got vapor or not. On bigger hits, I can feel the vapor almost pushing against my thoat and lungs.

THC initiates a coughing reflex... so no, if you get a decent hit it will still irritate your lungs. Not nearly as much as smoking, but it still does.

breathe slow and dont vape too much at once, and its hard to tell you're inhaling something other than air

If I take a hit that's too big, I can''t tell while I'm breathing in. When I exhale, though, it feels like I got the wind knocked out of me. It doesn't feel harsh or "hurt" like a huge hit of smoke does though.
